The closest station to Mt Penang Gardens is Gosford on the Central Coast and Newcastle Line. From there you can change for a shuttle bus to get to the festival.

To help you get home, an extra service will run from Gosford at 00:05, stopping all stations to Woy Woy, Hawkesbury River, Cowan, Berowra then all stations to Hornsby, then express to Central.

The 01:06 service from Gosford to Central will stop all stations to Woy Woy, Hawkesbury River, Cowan, Berowra then express stops to Central.

Special event ‘Mountain Sounds’ shuttle buses will be run between Gosford station and the event site every 30 minutes. 

  • On Thursday 15 February from 15:30 to 22:00.
  • On Friday 16 and Saturday 17 February from 09:00 to 15:30 and return services back to Gosford Station from 23:30 to 01:30.

Traffic may be heavy on key roads approaching Kariong including the M1 Pacific Motorway and Central Coast Highway. Allow for extra travel time if you're driving to the festival.

Free parking is available on site but will be very limited during the festival. You can pre-purchase parking at Ticketbooth – Mountain Sounds Festival.
