Special ticketing information

It will be busy leaving the Moore Park precinct as a festival will finish at nearby Centennial Park around the same time as the first Super Rugby Waratahs home game finishes. Rugby fans should allow extra travel time leaving the precinct and make use of the shuttle buses running back to Central.

Valid pre-purchased match tickets include travel to and from Allianz Stadium on:

  • Train services (bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst and Dungog stations)
  • Regular and special event shuttle bus services.
  • Sydney Ferries services
  • Light rail services

Remember to keep your ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on public transport until 04:00 the following day.

Note: an additional station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. Your event ticket does not include the access fee, so if you're travelling from these stations you'll need to pay the train station access fee.

The closest station to Allianz Stadium is Central. Change at Central for a Moore Park shuttle bus or you can also walk to Moore Park via Foveaux Street or Devonshire Street and the Albert 'Tibby' Cotter Walkway. See our Moore Park walking route map (pdf 233KB) to help find your way.

Trackwork is scheduled to take place from 02:00 Saturday 24 February through until 02:00 Monday 26 February and will affect the following lines:

  • T1 North Shore: buses replace trains between Hornsby and Wynyard via Gordon.
  • T1 Northern Line: buses replace trains between Epping and Chatswood via Macquarie University.
  • T3 Bankstown Line: buses replace trains between Liverpool, Lidcombe and Sydenham.

Express Moore Park shuttle buses (Route 1) will run from Eddy Avenue at Central Station from 17:30 until 19:40.

Return shuttle buses will run from the Moore Park Bus Station back to Central Station (Route 1) and Circular Quay (Route 3) from 21:00 until 22:30

Catch one of the many ferry services to Circular Quay and change for a train service to Central where you can catch a shuttle bus service leaving from Eddy Avenue to get to Moore Park. Check travel alerts or use the Trip Planner.

Light rail services run between Central Station and Dulwich Hill with stops at popular CBD and Inner West destinations. Change at Central for a shuttle bus running directly to Moore Park from Eddy Avenue. For maps and service frequencies see light rail service information.

Traffic may be heavy on roads approaching Moore Park including Anzac Parade, Cleveland Street, Moore Park Road and the Eastern Distributor.

Parts of Driver Avenue will be closed to traffic before, during and after the game and will reopen once crowds have left the area.

Limited parking will be available at:

  • The Entertainment Quarter, entry via Lang Road.
  • The MP1 car park, entry via Driver Avenue (Platinum and Gold Members only).
  • EP2 – Kippax Park, entry via northern end of Driver Avenue
  • EP3 – open from 17:00 

Each car park has spaces for RMS Mobility Parking permit holders.

Special event clearways

Special event clearways will be in place on roads in Moore Park and surrounding areas from midday until midnight on Saturday 24 February.  

Check signs before parking as vehicles left in special event clearways will be towed and a towing fee applies. Visit Live Traffic NSW to see the locations of special event clearways.
