Trackwork

Trackwork is carried out on an ongoing basis to maintain the safety, reliability and efficiency of the Sydney Trains network. Trackwork may affect how you travel to and from events. For the latest information, check trackwork service updates or use the Trip Planner.

A number of bus services run to the city stopping along Elizabeth Street which is a short walk to the start line in The Domain. Buses will run to a regular Sunday timetable, use the Trip Planner to plan your trip.

Due to road closures in the Royal Botanic Garden for the event buses to and from the Art Gallery of NSW will terminate early and use temporary stops

From 05:00 until 10:30am, Route 441 will terminate at Riley St near William St and depart from St Mary's Rd near Sir John Young Crescent.

Sydney Ferries are a great way to get around the city but services can be popular and may reach capacity, particularly on weekends.

Circular Quay is the closest wharf to the start line and is around a 10 minute walk away. For ferry service disruptions check travel alerts or use the Trip Planner.

Light rail services run between Central Station and Dulwich Hill with stops at popular CBD and Inner West destinations.

From Central, change for a train service to Martin Place to get to the start line.

Parking will be limited so participants are encouraged to consider the public transport options.

If you do choose to drive, parking is available at:

  • Cook & Phillip car park, entry via Cathedral Street from 06:00.
  • Domain car park, entry via St Mary's Road from 05:00.
