Large crowds are expected to visit The Botanic Gardens in Auburn for the Cherry Blossom Festival. Please allow extra travel time if you are driving or catching a bus.
Route 909 buses through Auburn may experience delays of up to 15 minutes each day of the festival so allow extra travel time.
The closest station to The Botanic Gardens is Auburn Station. The Gardens are a 30 minute walk via Mary Street.
During weekend periods (Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 August & Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 August) T1 Western Line trains will and additional stop at Auburn between 09:00 and 17:00.
Free shuttle buses will run between the station and the gardens each day from 09:00 until 17:00.

Free return shuttle buses will run between Auburn Train Station from the South Parade exit and the Auburn Botanic Gardens each day of the event between 09:00 and 17:00.
Many other regular Sydney Buses services run to Auburn including
- Route 908 and 911 from Bankstown
- Route 909 from Parramatta
- Route N60 and N61 from Town Hall.
Please note: delays of up to 15 minutes may occur each day especially on Route 909 as crowds make their way to Auburn.

Street parking around the venue will be limited so consider the public transport options instead. Limited parking will be available at Susan Street car park. A shuttle bus will run from the car park to the gardens on weekends only during the event.
