Write Around the Murray Festival

Albury Library Museum

Event information

Write Around the Murray (WAM) is a five day festival of reading, writing and storytelling, with a great mix of free and ticketed events catering to all ages and interests.

The 2018 festival theme sees a program bursting with books, conversations and events about life, about story, about life stories.

Events take place in and around the architecturally stunning Library Museum, with the adjoining Retro Lane Cafe and sunny QEII square providing the perfect place to lunch, reflect and continue festival conversations. Activities include a festival dinner, literary lunch, poetry slam, workshops, author talks, performances, panel discussions, writing competitions, children's events and a wood-fired oven event by the river.
