National Cherry Festival
Young, the heart of the Hilltops Region in New South Wales, celebrates the National Cherry Festival on the first full weekend of December with three day of celebrations. The quirky and colourful festivities include the National Cherry Festival Street Parade, Christmas Street Market, cherry pie eating championships, cherry pip spitting competition, live music, drum and pipes bands, Young and Region Farmers Market, fringe events, and much more. You will also be able to pick your own cherries from local orchards and buy direct from the growers.
