Ticketing information

Valid pre-purchased match tickets include travel to and from GIANTS Stadium on train services (bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations) and Sydney Metro services.

Remember to keep your ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on public transport until 4am the following day.

Note: an additional station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. Your event ticket does not include the access fee, so if you're travelling from these stations you'll need to pay the train station access fee.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Tallawong Station and Chatswood Station.

Metro services start running from the early morning. Fans will need to change at Epping not Chatswood to connect with trains to Olympic Park due to T1 North Shore Line trackwork between Gordon and Wynyard.

Metro services start running from the early morning. Last services from Chatswood to Tallawong leave at 12.45am on Thursday nights and at 1.45am on Friday and Saturday nights.

The closest station to GIANTS Stadium is Olympic Park. Catch a train to Lidcombe for a direct service to Olympic Park from Platform Zero running every 10 minutes until 22:20, then every 20 minutes until midnight.

Trackwork

Trackwork is taking place from 02:00 Saturday 20 July until 02:00 Monday 22 July and may affect how you travel to and from the event:

  • T1 North Shore Line: Buses replace trains between Gordon and North Sydney or Wynyard. Buses to stations between Gordon and Chatswood run to and from Wynyard only. Buses between Chatswood and Waverton run to and from North Sydney only.
  • T3 Bankstown Line: Buses replace trains between Sydenham and Central. Trains run between Liverpool or Lidcombe and Sydenham only, some to a changed timetable.
  • T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Buses replace trains between Sydenham and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Cronulla and Sydenham, Waterfall and Hurstville, and Central and Bondi Junction.
  • T8 Airport & South Line: Some trains run to a changed timetable.
  • T9 Northern Line: Some trains run to a changed timetable between Berowra or Hornsby and North Sydney via Strathfield.
  • South Coast Line: Buses replace trains between Waterfall and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between South Coast Line stations and Waterfall stations.

The following Sydney Buses services run to Sydney Olympic Park:

  • Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Burwood via Sydney Olympic Park.
  • Route 526 runs from the Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf to Olympic Park.
  • Route 533 runs from Sydney Olympic Park to Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.

Sydney Ferries services are very popular and may reach capacity, especially on weekends. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip ahead and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

GIANTS Stadium is approximately 40 minutes walk (3.6km) from Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the stadium.

Light rail services run between Central Station and Dulwich Hill with stops at popular CBD and Inner West destinations. Change at Central for Western Line services towards Olympic Park.
