Important Travel Advice

Ticketholders are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.  

Public transport is the best way to get to Allianz Stadium with frequent light rail and buses servicing the Moore Park area.

Travel on transport is included in your ticket to the game so leave the car at home.

Trains and Metro services run regularly to the city where you can connect with frequent light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park light rail stop is located a short walk across from Allianz Stadium. Plenty of regular route buses also make stops along Anzac Parade and Oxford Street nearby. 

Consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway to avoid the queues for transport services before and after the match. See our Moore Park walking route map (pdf 550KB) to find your way.

If you have to drive, allow extra travel time as traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the precinct as fans travel to the match. Carpool with your group as parking in the precinct may fill quickly. You can find real-time traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.

Parking is available near Allianz Stadium at the Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park.

Ticketing entitlements

Valid pre-purchased tickets to the NRLW Semi Final match on Sunday 29 September at Allianz Stadium include travel to and from Moore Park on the following transport services, just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding: 

  • Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations) 
  • Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses 
  • Sydney Metro services 
  • Sydney and Newcastle Light Rail services 
  • Sydney and Newcastle Ferries 

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.

Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.

Tickets to the NRLW Semi Finals at Allianz Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham. Metro services start running from early morning, every 5 to 10 minutes, until late at night. 

Change at Central to connect with light rail services towards Moore Park from Chalmers Street.

The closest stations to Allianz Stadium are Central and Bondi Junction.

From Central, catch a light rail service to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street. Alternatively, consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway. See our Moore Park walking route map (pdf 550KB) to find your way.

From Bondi Junction, catch one of the many regular route buses from the Interchange to Oxford Street to get within walking distance of the stadium.

Trackwork

There is planned trackwork taking place on Sunday 29 September that may impact your trip to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.

  • T1 Western Line: Richmond trains make extra stops at Granville and Auburn. 
  • T2 Inner West & Leppington Line: Buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington and the City via Regents Park. 
  • T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and the City via Regents Park and between Schofields and Olympic Park. Change at Lidcombe for trains towards Richmond or Leppington and Cabramatta or Granville for buses to Canley Vale, Fairfield, Yennora, Guildford or Merrylands. 
  • T8 Airport & South Line: From 8.40am to 3pm, buses replace the all-stations trains between Wolli Creek and Revesby. Express trains continue to run but will not stop at stations between Padstow and Turrella. 
  • South Coast Iine: From 4am to 6.30am, buses replace some trains between Hurstville and Waterfall. The 5:19am Central to Kiama service will start from Waterfall at 6:07am. From 7.30am to 11.30am, at Scarborough, Wombarra and Coledale, all trains leave from platform 1. From 12pm to 4pm, at Coledale, Wombarra and Scarborough, all trains leave from platform 2.

A number of regular Sydney Buses service stops along Anzac Parade near the precinct, including routes 339, 373, 374 and 396. From Bondi Junction Interchange, catch routes 333, 352 or 440 to Oxford Street or catch route 355 buses to Lang Road to get within short walking distance of the stadium.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

From Central, change for a light rail service on the L2 or L3 line to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street. 

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily, plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Catch L2 or L3 light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade just south of Allianz Stadium.

If you have to drive, allow extra travel time on roads around the precinct travelling to and from the match. Carpool with your group and plan to arrive early as parking may be in high demand.

The closest taxi rank is located on Errol Flynn Boulevard (near the Hordern Pavilion).

Moore Park Car Parks

Parking will be available at the following car parks near the stadium:

  • Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park: Open 24 hours. Flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Errol Flynn Boulevard from Lang Road.

Grass car parks on Driver Ave will not be open for this game.
