Live Traffic NSW is the official source of all disruptions affecting travel on roads across NSW.

Owned by Transport for NSW, Live Traffic NSW provides real-time information on road incidents and changed traffic conditions to enable motorists to make informed and safe decisions when planning to travel on the NSW road network.

Transport for NSW’s Transport Management Centre (TMC) publishes information on state road incidents and traffic conditions 365 days a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

The TMC use advanced monitoring, communication and traffic management systems to:

• Monitor 18,000km of state road network
• Respond to and clear traffic incidents as quickly as possible to keep traffic flowing
• Provide up-to-date and accurate advice to motorists on changing road conditions

Information on local and regional road disruptions is provided by local councils. Councils across all local government areas in NSW are invited to publish information on Live Traffic NSW.
