More than 140 extra weekly ferry services have been added across the transport network. This includes a new cross-harbour route linking the Eastern Suburbs, Lower North Shore, CBD and the Inner West, with improved links to Barangaroo.
Key changes by ferry route:
- Route F3 Parramatta River Service will no longer run to Woolwich and Greenwich Point.
- Route F4 Cross Harbour ferry service replaces F4 Darling Harbour and F7 Eastern Suburbs and will run from Watsons Bay, Rose Bay, Circular Quay, Milsons Point, McMahons Point, Balmain East, Pyrmont Bay and Barangaroo wharves.
- Route F7 Double Bay ferry service replaces the F7 Eastern Suburbs and will run from Double Bay, Darling Point, Garden Island, Circular Quay wharves. Note: Rose Bay and Watsons Bay are no longer serviced on this line.
- Route F8 Cockatoo Island - New service stopping at Cockatoo Island, Woolwich, Greenwich Point, Birchgrove, Balmain, and Circular Quay wharves.
