On Demand public transport arrives on the Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs and Sutherland Shire
More On Demand public transport services have arrived where and when people need them across Manly and the Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs and Sutherland Shire.
These new services are part of the On Demand transport pilot program, which is administered by Transport for NSW.
They will provide personalised public transport to connect you from your home address or designated pick-up point to key destinations within your local area such as train stations, ferry wharves and shopping centres.
New services include:
- Ride-Plus Manly services Manly, Brookvale, Balgowlah, Manly Vale, Queenscliff and Freshwater, Monday to Friday for $3.10 one way
- Keoride Northern Beaches services 2 zones; Palm Beach to Mona Vale, and Ingleside to North Narrabeen, Monday to Sunday for $3.10 one way
- Ride-Plus Eastern Suburbs services Vaucluse, Dover Heights, Bondi, Tamarama, Rose Bay, Bellevue Hill, Point Piper and Woollahra, Monday to Friday for $3.10 one way
- Transdev Link Sutherland Shire services 4 zones; Jannali West, Sylvania, Caringbah and Gymea, Monday to Sunday for $2.60 one way
The On Demand pilot program will not affect any existing local bus services, and will inform future public transport improvements across the transport network.
