Your trip may change from 26 November

26 November is fast approaching, which means new timetables will come into effect soon. It’s important to check if your trip is changing, so plan your new trip now.

Public transport is moving forward, starting with 8,600 new weekly services. With more trains, new bus and ferry routes, more services and better connections.

We’re simplifying the transport network to meet the needs of a growing Sydney. The changes will increase capacity, so we can deliver more services and provide better connections between trains, buses and ferries.

The new services include:

  • More than 1,500 new weekly train services, including 750 new weekend train services.
  • Almost 7,000 new weekly bus services on routes serving the Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, Lower North Shore and Northern Suburbs, Macarthur and Hills Districts.
  • Introduction of the new B-Line bus service for the Northern Beaches with over 2,000 weekly services.
  • More than 140 new weekly ferry services, including a new Cross Harbour ferry route linking the Eastern Suburbs, Lower North Shore, Inner West and Sydney CBD.

The changes mark the biggest ever change to our public transport network.

Some adjustments will be made to existing bus and ferry timetables to align with the new train timetable, making it easier for you to change between different modes of public transport.
