More bus services for Blue Mountains

Starting from Monday 12 February 2018, almost 50 additional services each week will be added to routes 688, 689 and 692 in the lower Blue Mountains to provide more travel options across the week.

Additional services will be introduced on weeknights and on weekends on route 688 (Penrith to Emu Heights) and 689 (Penrith to Leonay).

These additional services will provide later services on weeknights and more services on weekends. Weekday evening and weekend services on the existing route 1688 Penrith to Emu Heights and Leonay loop service, will be withdrawn and replaced by the new services on routes 688 and 689.

Route 692W (Winmalee to Springwood) also benefits from additional services across the week with later services to be introduced on weekdays and weekends. Existing weekend services are also being re-spaced on routes 692H and 692Y for a more consistent timetable.

These changes will provide more travel options across weekdays and weekends in the Emu Plains and Springwood areas.
