How to use Stop Announcer (NSW)
Stop Announcer (NSW) is designed to help customers with vision impairment navigate their way on public transport.
To use the app, you need the stop numbers for the bus stops, ferry wharves. light rail stops and train platforms you are travelling from and to.
Stop numbers for bus stops, ferry wharves and light rail stops can be found by using the Trip planner, calling 131 500 or checking the signs at bus stops. Stop numbers for bus stops and ferry wharves are also displayed in Google Maps.
Stop numbers for train platforms can be found by downloading the list of train stop numbers (pdf 513KB) and looking for the station name and platform.
