Moore Creek to Tamworth Service

A trial of On Demand services in the Moore Creek and Tamworth area began service on Monday 14 January 2019, operated by Macphersons Coaches.

The pilot runs two distinct services, including:

Workers service

A workers service operating on weekdays, which will transport residents around Moore Creek to the employment hub of Tamworth and surrounds in the morning. The service will run in reverse in the evening to take workers home.

On Demand service

An ‘on demand service’ operating Monday to Saturday, connecting Moore Creek and Tamworth.


You will be able to book this service via online website or by phone. 

Bookings must be made the day before up to 6pm and up to 1 week in advance.

Standard $4.40
Concession $2.20

Concession Fare eligibility: concession card holders, including pensioners, seniors, students and apprentices.

The Regional Excursion Daily Ticket (RED) will also be available for Pensioner Concession eCard holders, NSW Seniors card holders and War Widower/s card holders (NSW or Victoria).

Free travel entitlements are available with a Vision Impaired Person's Travel Pass, NSW Blinded Soldier Pass, WW1 Veteran's Widows Pass and Ex-Defence card. Please notify Macphersons Coaches of your entitlement at the time of booking.

Mon to Fri 5.15pm–6pm (Inbound)

The Moore Creek/Tregarthen On Demand service area covers Tregarthen, Forest Hills, Hills Plain North Tamworth, East Tamworth, Westdale and South Tamworth.
