Additional bus services for Western Sydney

Improvements are being introduced to bus services in Western Sydney including Penrith, Glenmore Park, Mount Druitt, Blacktown and Rouse Hill from Sunday 29 June 2025.

Starting from Sunday 29 June:

  • 243 additional weekly services in the region
  • Including weekend and public holiday services that start earlier in the morning and end later at night
  • Simpler and easier to understand timetables

There will also be minor timing changes to some school services.

Services start earlier in the morning and end later at night on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Early morning services on Saturdays will now operate to and from Rouse Hill, improving access to Sydney Metro services.

All services on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays will now operate the full length of the route between Penrith and Mt Druitt, resulting in more services for passengers between Penrith and Tregear and a simpler and easier to understand bus timetable.

Early morning, evening and night services throughout the week now operate to and from Glenmore Park Town Centre, improving access to local shopping and community services.

A morning peak service from Penrith Station will operate via The Lakes Christian College, Castlereagh. This will provide a new morning journey option between Penrith Station, Penrith, Cranbrook and the school.
