T1 Western Line: Buses replace trains between Parramatta or Blacktown and Olympic Park

Friday 26 to Sunday 28 December 
  • Buses replace trains between Parramatta and Olympic Park.
  • Trains run to a changed timetable between Penrith or Richmond and Leppington, and between Olympic Park and the City.
  • Change at:
    • Parramatta for buses towards Olympic Park, or
    • Glenfield for trains to the City via the Airport.

  • From 5.30pm Saturday to 6am Sunday, buses replace trains between Blacktown and Olympic Park.
  • Trains run between Penrith or Richmond and Blacktown only.

Replacement buses
  • Most replacement buses are Opal-enabled. Tap on and off with a valid Opal or contactless card. Fines apply without a valid ticket.
  • Bikes aren’t allowed on replacement buses. Use a nearby bike shed or locker.
  • Services may be delayed or cancelled due to driver shortages. We're working to minimise disruptions and keep your journey safe.
