Limited buses are replacing trains from Gordon, all stations to Chatswood only due to urgent overhead wiring repairs at Chatswood. An unscheduled rail shuttle service will run between Hornsby and Gordon in both directions. Trains that normally terminate at North Sydney, Hornsby or Berowra will continue as tabled while Train that normally end/start from Gordon will now end/start from North Sydney. Please note that some services will be cancelled to reduce congestion and avoid longer delays. If you are travelling from Artarmon, St Leonards, Wollstonecraft or Waverton towards the City will need to make your own way to the nearest Metro Station or alternatively catch a outbound Hornsby train and interchange at Chatswood to complete your journey. It is recommended that you allow up to 45 minutes extra travel time when planning your trip, delay your journey if possible or consider using other transport options such as local buses or Sydney Metro. Please listen for announcements and check information screens before joining your train and use transport apps to plan your trip. The repairs are expected to be completed by 11:00am.
