Buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Wollongong

Friday 12 to Sunday 14 June
  • From 3.40pm Friday, buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Wollongong.
  • Trains run between Port Kembla, Wollongong and Central or Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable.
  • Buses do not run to the train timetable. If connecting with trains at Wollongong, you may need to catch an earlier bus to ensure you meet your train connection.

  • Plan your trip before you travel for up-to-date real time information. You can also subscribe to planned trackwork alerts.

61SC Bomaderry, all stations to Kiama, then express to Wollongong and return
62SC Kiama, all stations to Wollongong and return
 
Replacement buses
  • Most replacement buses are Opal-enabled. Tap on and off with a valid Opal or contactless card. Fines apply without a valid ticket.
  • Bikes aren’t allowed on replacement buses. Use a nearby bike shed or locker.
  • Services may be delayed or cancelled due to driver shortages. We're working to minimise disruptions and keep your journey safe.
