Sunday 26 July      
  • From 2.20am to 11.50am, buses replace trains between Bomaderry, Port Kembla and Wollongong.  
  • Trains run between Wollongong and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable.
  • The 02:39 Kiama to Bondi Junction service will run up to 20 minutes earlier than the normal timetable from Kiama to Coniston, then run to the normal timetable from Wollongong to Bondi Junction.
  • The first train leaves Wollongong at 11:05, arriving Kiama at 11:47.

  • The 05:19 Central to Kiama service starts from Waterfall at 06:02.  
  • Use T4 Illawarra Line trains from Central to Hurstville, then a bus from Hurstville to Waterfall.

61SC   Bomaderry, all stations to Kiama, express to Wollongong and return 
62SC   Kiama, all stations to Wollongong and return (bypassing Bombo in the Oak Flats direction) 
41T4    Hurstville, express to Sutherland, all stations to Waterfall  
 
Replacement buses 
  • Most replacement buses are Opal-enabled. Tap on and off with a valid Opal or contactless card. Fines apply without a valid ticket. 
  • Bikes aren’t allowed on replacement buses. Use a nearby bike shed or locker. 
  • Services may be delayed or cancelled due to driver shortages. We're working to minimise disruptions and keep your journey safe.
