Comfortable long-distance travel across NSW
The XPT (Express Passenger Train) has been connecting major destinations since 1982. With its aerodynamic design, it operates services between Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Dubbo, Grafton, and Casino.
Each XPT power car is equipped with a Paxman VP185 12-cylinder, turbocharged diesel-electric engine producing 1492 kW (2,000 horsepower). There is a power car at both ends of the train, with one pulling and the other pushing.

Seating capacity: 16 plus two wheelchair spaces. The accessible toilet is in this carriage.
