Ways to book your ticket

You can book seats on NSW TrainLink Regional services online, over the phone or in person at selected NSW TrainLink stations and sales agents.

Some bookings need to be booked closer to the date of travel. Find out more about when to book if you are having trouble finding your service online.

For the best available fare, book your ticket online through the NSW TrainLink booking website. You can search for available services, view current sale fares and manage your booking.

Most concession travel can also be booked online.

How to pay over the phone

You can use Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club or American Express credit cards. Another payment option is Pay it @ POST. You will be given booking reference number which you take to an Australia Post Office to pay for your ticket.

You can book travel and change or cancel bookings at selected NSW TrainLink stations and sales agents.

Some agents may not be able to exchange tickets you have already paid for. Please contact the agent in advance.

How to pay at sales agents and stations

You can pay by cash, credit card or cheque. Most sales agents will have EFTPOS facilities.

You can book your ticket online or over the phone, and pay for it in person at your local post office.

Pay it @ POST can be used for fares $10 or more, and tickets booked 7 days in advance.

Pay it @ POST is only available for online bookings through the original booking website.

How to Pay it @ POST

  1. Print out or write down the Australia Post reference number provided by the booking website.
  2. Take this number to a post office and pay by cash or EFTPOS.
  3. When your payment is processed, you will receive an email confirmation.
  4. Print this confirmation or present it on your mobile device as your ticket when you travel.

Changing payment method after booking
