You may be eligible for a concession fare and other travel benefits.
Senior and Pensioner fares
Travel for $2.50 per day
You may qualify for senior or pensioner fares if you belong to one of the following groups.
Concession fares
You can get concession fares if you're a student, apprentice, or eligible based on your income.
Child and youth
Children 3 and under travel free. Children (aged 4 - 15) and eligible Secondary students (aged 16 and over) pay Child fares.
Free travel
The following people, including veterans and those with disabilities, are entitled to free travel if eligible.
School travel
Free or subsidised travel for students
Primary and secondary students in NSW might be entitled to free or discounted travel to and from school.
Other travel passes
Assistance Animal Permit
Assistance animals with a valid permit can travel free on public transport in Sydney and surrounds.
