Update a school travel pass

Update or renew a school travel pass.

To change student details for the school travel pass or School Opal card, you will need to re-apply or update their details.

When to update details

You must re-apply or update a student's school travel pass or School Opal card if they:

  • change school or campus
  • change home address
  • change their name
  • receive an expiry notification but have special circumstances
  • request a new transport operator

Completing the form

  • You need to complete the form in one session. You will not be able to save a partly completed form.
  • Students under 16 years of age will need a parent or legal guardian to submit the application.
  • Students aged 16 years or older will need to complete and submit their own application.
