Book a seat on NSW TrainLink Regional services

Orange is one of the most beautiful and productive areas in NSW, is also now one of the most exciting food and wine regions in Australia. Due to its cool climate and rich volcanic soils, the produce ranges from stone fruits and sheep's cheeses to fungi and grapes and about 40 cool-climate wineries operate in the area.

Orange is known as Australia's Colour City with its four distinct seasons where colours are showcased through the city's beautiful parks and the Orange Botanic Gardens. The area has many attractions, from historic buildings and streetscapes to cosmopolitan cafes, restaurants and theatres. There are over 30 restaurants and 13 pubs.

Orange is located in the Central West of NSW and is approximately 258 kilometres from Sydney.

The Dubbo XPT runs daily from Sydney and stops at Orange. On Mondays the Broken Hill Explorer runs from Sydney and stops at Orange, coming back on Tuesday. In addition, NSW TrainLink runs daily services from Sydney to Lithgow with connecting coaches to Orange.
