Chatswood to Sydenham open now

The Sydney Metro from Chatswood to Sydenham features new Metro stations, including Crows Nest, Victoria Cross, Barangaroo, Martin Place, Gadigal and Waterloo, along with a new underground platform at Central and upgraded platforms at Sydenham.

Transforming how we travel

  • Turn up and go: A train every 4 minutes during peak times, 5 minutes between peak periods on week days and 10 minutes at other times, means you’ll never have to wait too long.
  • Easy boarding: Level access between platforms and trains make it easier and faster to get on and off. 
  • Stay informed: Onboard real-time travel information and live electronic maps keep you updated on your journey.
  • Fully accessible: Wheelchair spaces, separate priority seating, and multi-purpose areas cater to prams, luggage, and bicycles, making travel easy for everyone.
  • Reliable: Expert train controllers monitor Sydney Metro, making sure everything runs smoothly. 
  • Secure and safe: Metro stations use platform screen doors for boarding. Plus, CCTV monitors onboard with interactive help points ensure your security.
