To pay your fare on most public transport in Sydney and surrounds, you need an Opal card. Opal single tickets are only available on some services and from certain stops.
For NSW TrainLink Regional trains and coaches, you need to book your seat in advance. For local bus services in regional areas, tickets can be bought from the driver.
There are a range of concessions available to eligible customers for travel right across NSW.
Fare evasion is a crime. Make sure you are travelling with a valid Opal card or ticket or you may be fined.
