Lost and stolen Opal cards

You can replace an Opal card if it gets lost or stolen, however only if it is registered.

Log into your account to block your lost or stolen card.

Your card will be blocked immediately and your balance will be protected. You won't be able to use it if you later find it.

You can transfer the balance of your blocked card to another registered card linked to your account, if you have one. If not, you can order a new Opal card.

A new card will be mailed to you within five to seven days.
