Travel for attendants

If you are an eligible ex-veteran, your concession card or Opal card may be marked "plus attendant." This allows the person supporting you during your trip to travel for free.

Eligible passes include:

  • Ex-members of the Defence Forces Pass
  • NSW Blinded Soldier Pass
  • World War 1 Veteran's Widows Free Pass

Travel with an assistance animal

If you have a support animal, the Assistance Animal Permit permits your animal to travel for free with you.

Travel with a companion

The NSW Companion Card allows your carer to travel for free when they are with you. Other concession cards may also be marked 'plus attendant,' which allows your support person to travel at no cost.
