Manage NSW TrainLink bookings and check refund policies
You can cancel or make changes at any time before departure, but fees and charges may apply. Here’s what you’re entitled to based on when you cancel:
| Time of cancellation | Refund | Fees per passenger |
| 7 days or more before departure | Yes | No fees |
| Less than 7 days before departure | Yes | $5.50 cancellation + any fare difference |
| After service has departed | No refund. You can rebook the next available service (fees apply). No refund if you cancel a rebooked service or if original class isn’t available. | $5.50 cancellation + any fare difference |
