Valid pre-purchased match tickets include travel to and from ANZ Stadium at Olympic Park on train services (bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations) and Sydney Metro Services.
Remember to keep your ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or accepted contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on public transport until 04:00 the following day.
Note: an additional station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. Your event ticket does not include the access fee, so if you're travelling from these stations you'll need to pay the train station access fee.
Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Tallawong Station and Chatswood Station.
Metro services start running from the early morning. Change at Chatswood or Epping to connect with train services towards Olympic Park.
On Sunday to Wednesday nights until late 2019, the late night North West Night Bus service will run frequent all-stops and limited stops services from Tallawong at 9.25pm and from Chatswood at 10.10pm while Sydney Metro grows to full operations. The first North West Night Bus service departs Tallawong at 9.25pm and Chatswood at 10.10pm. Services will run both all-stops route and limited stops routes.
You can use your Opal card or accepted contactless payment method on Sydney Metro services. You will need to use your Opal card on North West Night Bus services.
The closest station to ANZ Stadium is Olympic Park. Catch a train to Lidcombe for a direct service to Olympic Park from Platform Zero running every 10 minutes until midnight.
To help you get to the event an additional service will depart Sydenham at 14:28 stopping all stations to Olympic Park via Canterbury and Belmore. An additional service will also depart Central at 14:40 stopping at Redfern, Strathfield and Olympic Park.
Trackwork is taking place from Saturday 29 June to Sunday 30 June and may affect how you travel to and from the event:
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Buses replace trains between Cronulla, Waterfall and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Bondi Junction and Central.
- South Coast Line: Buses replace trains between Dapto and Central, and between Port Kembla and Wollongong. Trains run to a changed timetable between Bomaderry and Kiama, and between Kiama and Dapto.
Trackwork is carried out on an ongoing basis to maintain the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the Sydney Trains network. Sydney Ferries services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip ahead and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.
ANZ Stadium is approximately 40 minutes walk (3.6km) from Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the stadium.
Due to low tide some ferry services to and from Parramatta wharf may be replaced by buses. See Parramatta Ferry low tide for the full calendar of ferry replacement services.
Note: Parramatta Wharf is closed for upgrades from Tuesday 30 April for about six months, weather and conditions permitting. See Parramatta Wharf Upgrades for more details.
Light rail services run between Central Station and Dulwich Hill with stops at popular CBD and Inner West destinations. Change at Central for train services towards Olympic Park.
Traffic is expected to be busy on roads approaching Sydney Olympic Park including the M4, Parramatta Road, Homebush Bay Drive and Concord Road.
