Important Travel Advice

Fans are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.  

The closest station to the stadium is Gosford on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. The stadium is a short walk from the station.   

Remember, you'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device. Register your details online at Opalor via the Opal Travel app ahead of time. 

If you’re driving, travel with your group and use nearby local parking. Allow extra travel time as traffic may be heavier than usual as fans travel to and from the match. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions livetraffic.com.  

Opal

You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.

Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham. Metro services start running from early morning, every 5 to 10 minutes, until late at night. 

Please note that due to planned weekend trackwork, buses replace Metro services between Tallawong and Chatswood. Metro services run between Chatswood and Sydenham. You may need to catch a replacement bus to connect with other transport services. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner

Change at Epping or Central to connect with Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains to Gosford.

The closest station to Industree Group Stadium is Gosford on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. From the station, the stadium is a short walk away via Showground Road and Dane Drive. 

Trackwork

Planned trackwork is taking place on Saturday 1 February on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.

  • M1 Metro Line: Buses replace services between Tallawong and Chatswood. Metro services run between Chatswood and Sydenham. 
  • T1 Western Line: From 8am to 12pm, Richmond trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Liverpool. Change trains at Parramatta to continue your journey towards the City. 
  • T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: From 8am to 12pm, trains run to a changed timetable and frequency between Leppington and the City via Granville or Regents Park. Inner West trains also run to a changed timetable and frequency. Some T9 Northen Line trains make an extra stop at Ashfield. 
  • T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: From 8am to 12pm, trains run to a changed timetable and frequency between Leppington and the City via Regents Park. Inner West trains also run to a changed timetable and frequency. Some T9 Northen Line trains make an extra stop at Ashfield. 
  • T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Buses replace trains between Sydenham and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Cronulla or Waterfall and Sydenham, and between Central and Bondi Junction. Metro services run between Sydenham and the City.  
  • T8 Airport & South Line: Buses replace trains between Sydenham and Central. Metro services run between Sydenham and the City. Trains run between Macarthur, Revesby and the City via the Airport, some to a changed timetable. Trackwork on the T4 and South Coast lines may also affect how you travel. Change at Wolli Creek for trains towards T4 Illawarra and South Coast line stations. 
  • T9 Northern Line: From 8am to 12pm, some trains make an extra stop at Ashfield. 
  • Hunter Line: From 8.50pm to 2.20am, buses replace trains from Newcastle Interchange to Telarah. From 10pm to 3.30am, buses replace trains from Telarah to Newcastle Interchange. 
  • South Coast Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between South Coast Line stations and Hurstville only. Change trains at Hurstville to continue your journey. Trackwork also affects T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line trains between Sydenham and Central.

Red Bus Services and Busways service the Central Coast area.

Routes 19, 21, 22, 23, 64 and 67 run towards Gosford making stops near the stadium.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

At Central, change for a Central Coast & Newcastle Line train to Gosford Station.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Plan your trip using Trip Planner.

At Central, change for a Central Coast & Newcastle Line train to Gosford Station.

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service towards Epping or Central to connect with Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains to Gosford.

Newcastle Light Rail 

Newcastle Light Rail services run from 5am to 1am daily between Newcastle Interchange in Wickham and Pacific Park in Newcastle East. With six convenient stops, it’s easy to get around Newcastle’s city centre and connect with train, bus and ferry services. 

Catch a light rail service to Newcastle Interchange and change for a Central Coast & Newcastle Line service to Gosfrodf to get within walking distance of the stadium.

Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching the stadium as fans travel to and from the match. Allow extra travel time and use local parking.  

Dane Drive will close from 3:15pm between the Central Coast Highway and Donnison Street for the safety of pedestrians, and will reopen once crowds have cleared the area.
