Important Travel Advice

Fans are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.

Trains run regularly to Carlton on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line and the stadium is a short 10-minute walk from the station. 

Remember, you'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device. Register your details online at Opalor via the Opal Travel app ahead of time.  

Traffic is expected to be heavy in both directions on the Princes Highway approaching Kogarah as crowds travel to and from the stadium. Local roads around the stadium will close ahead of kick-off, including Jubilee Avenue, Park Street and English Street. Roads will re-open once crowds have cleared the area.

Opal

You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.

Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.

If you have a contactless-enabled American Express, Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card, or a linked device, you can use it to pay for your travel by tapping on and tapping off at Opal card readers. Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham. Metro services start running from early morning, every 5 to 10 minutes, until late at night. 

Change at Central for a T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line service to Carlton.

The closest station to Jubilee Stadium is Carlton on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line. The stadium is a short 10-minute walk from the station.   

To help you get to and from the match, the following trains will make an extra stop at Carlton:  

  • All T4 Illawarra Line trains between 3.30pm and 9.30pm.  
  • The 1.56pm and 3.10pm Kiama to Bondi Junction train.  
  • The 7.13pm and 8.13pm Bondi Junction to Kiama train.  

Trackwork

Planned trackwork is taking place on Saturday 8 March on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner

  • T1 Western Line: Buses replace trains between Penrith, Richmond and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable between Granville and the City, with some trains making an extra stop at Flemington. Buses also run between some T1 Western Line stations and Tallawong. Frequent metro services run between Tallawong and the City. 
  • T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington and the City via Granville or Regents Park. Extra trains run between Liverpool and T1 North Shore Line stations via Granville. 
  • T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington and the City via Regents Park. From 6.30am to 10.30am, trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Lidcombe, and between Homebush and the City only. You may need to change trains to continue your journey. T1 and T2 trains run between Lidcombe and the City. 
  • T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland. Trains run between Waterfall, Sutherland and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable. From 4am to 11.30am, buses also replace trains between Waterfall and Sutherland. Trains run between Sutherland and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable. 
  • T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Richmond and Granville. T2 Leppington Line trains run between Leppington and the City via Granville. Extra trains run between Liverpool and T1 North Shore Line stations via Granville. 
  • T6 Bankstown Line: From 6.30am to 10.30am, trains run between Bankstown and Lidcombe to a reduced frequency, every 30 minutes. 
  • T8 Airport & South Line: From 9am to 3pm, trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Revesby and Turrella.  
  • Blue Mountains Line: Buses replace trains between Penrith and Granville. Trains from Penrith to Blue Mountains Line stations run up to 45 minutes later than the normal timetable. Bathurst trains continue to run between Bathurst and Central, to a changed timetable. Buses also replace T1 Western Line trains between Penrith, Richmond and Granville. If you are travelling to Lithgow to connect with NSW TrainLink Regional Coaches please call 132 232 to confirm departure times. From 9.15pm Saturday to 7.30am Sunday, buses replace trains between Springwood and Granville. 
  • Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Most trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Strathfield only. Change at Epping for metro services to the City or change trains at Strathfield to continue your journey. Some late night and early morning trains run around the City Circle. From 7.50pm Saturday to 4.50am Sunday, buses replace trains between Newcastle Interchange and Wyong. 
  • South Coast Line: From 3am to 11am, buses replace trains between Kiama, Port Kembla and Sutherland. Trains run to a changed timetable between Bomaderry and Kiama, and T4 Illawarra trains run between Sutherland and Bondi Junction.

The closest bus stops to the Stadium are along the Princes Highway at Kogarah Park.

Bus route 958 operates between Kogarah and Hurstville via Carss Park. Bus route 476 and 477 run to Gray Street, Kogarah, which is a short walk to Jubilee Stadium.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

From Central, change for a train to Carlton on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line. 

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines 

L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). From Central, change for a train to Carlton on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line. 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner

Alight at Parramatta Square and change for replacement buses/trains from Parramatta Station to Redfern or Central where you can connect with a T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line train service to Carlton.

There is no parking available at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium. There are various car parks within easy walking distance of Carlton and Kogarah Stations:

  • Kogarah Town Square, entry via Derby Street
  • Kogarah Town Centre, entry via ramp from Railway Parade
  • Hospital car park, entry via South Street
  • Kogarah Station commuter car park, entry via Station Street
  • Carlton Station commuter car park, entry via Railway Parade

A drop-off/pick-up zone for people with mobility/accessible needs is provided adjacent to the Stadium, on Park Street.
