Match Ticket Entitlements

Valid pre-purchased tickets to Sydney FC v Wrexham AFC at Allianz Stadium on Tuesday 15 July at Allianz Stadium include travel to and from Moore Park on the following transport services – just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding:

• Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
• Sydney Metro services
• Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
• Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services
• Sydney and Newcastle Ferries

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.

Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.

Tickets to Sydney FC v Wrexham AFC on Tuesday 15 July at Allianz Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late. 

Change at Central to connect with light rail services towards Moore Park. 

Please note that planned train trackwork on the City Circle and T1 North Shore Line may affect how you travel home after 9.40pm. Plan ahead and allow extra travel time. 

• Trains do not run between Central and Wynyard, or on the City Circle.  
• T1 North Shore Line trains run between Hornsby and Wynyard only.  
• Light rail services run between Central and Circular Quay.

The closest stations to Allianz Stadium are Central and Bondi Junction.  

From Central, catch a light rail service to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street. Alternatively, consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway. See the Moore Park walking route map (pdf 550KB) to find your way. 

From Bondi Junction, catch one of the many regular route buses from the Interchange to Oxford Street to get within walking distance of the stadium. 

Getting home 

Catch light rail services from Moore Park towards Central for connecting trains home. 

Please note that weeknight trackwork in the City and Inner West from 9.40pm may affect your trip home. 

• Trains will not run between Central and Wynyard or on the City Circle. 
• Stay on the light rail from Moore Park to continue towards Wynyard or change for metro services at Central. 
• Buses also replace Inner West Line trains between Strathfield and Central on the T2 and T3 lines. Change at Central to connect with replacement buses leaving from Western Forecourt at Grand Concourse. T1 trains run between Lidcombe and Central will make extra stops at Flemington, Homebush and Burwood, and some T9 trains make extra stops at Croydon and Ashfield.

Trackwork

Planned trackwork is taking place on Tuesday 15 June on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner. 

• M1 Metro Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, train trackwork on the City Circle and T1 North Shore Line may affect how you travel. Trains do not run between Central and Wynyard, or on the City Circle. T1 North Shore Line trains run between Hornsby and Wynyard only. Light rail services run between Central and Circular Quay.
• City Circle: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains do not run on the City Circle, or between Central and Wynyard. For travel around the City use the metro, T4 trains, light rail or local bus services. T4 trains continue to run between Central and Bondi Junction.  Light rail services run between Central and Circular Quay. Trackwork also affects trains on other lines.
• T1 North Shore Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains run between Berowra and Wynyard only, some to a changed timetable. Trains do not run between Wynyard and Central, or on the City Circle.  Use metro services between Chatswood, Crows Nest or Victoria Cross and the City, or change at Wynyard for the light rail. T1 Western and T9 Northern Line trains start and end at Central, platforms 1-14.
• T1 Western Line:  From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains run to a changed timetable between Penrith and Central, platforms 1-121-14 only. Trains make extra stops at some stations between Parramatta and Burwood. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel. Change at Central for metro, light rail or local bus services to continue your journey.
• T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, buses replace Inner West Line trains between Strathfield and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Olympic Park. Change at Lidcombe for trains towards Central. T1 trains run between Lidcombe and Central, platforms 1-14, making extra stops at Flemington, Homebush and Burwood. Some T9 trains make extra stops at Croydon and Ashfield. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel. Change at Central for metro, light rail or local bus services to continue your journey. From 10.15am to 1.20pm, buses replace trains between Leppington and Liverpool. Trains run to the normal timetable between Liverpool and the City via Granville.
• T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line:  From 9.40pm to 1.30am, buses replace Inner West Line trains between Strathfield and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Lidcombe only. Change trains at Lidcombe to continue your journey. T1 trains run between Lidcombe and Central, platforms 1-14, making extra stops at Flemington, Homebush and Burwood. Some T9 trains make extra stops at Croydon and Ashfield.
• T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Some trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. From 9.40pm to 2.30am, buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland. Trains run to a changed timetable between Waterfall, Sutherland and Bondi Junction.
• T5 Cumberland Line: From 10.15am to 1.20pm, buses replace trains between Leppington and Liverpool. Trains run to the normal timetable between Liverpool and Schofields. From 11.50pm to 1.30am, some trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond or Leppington and Olympic Park only. Some trains start and end at Granville. You may need to change trains at Granville to continue your journey.
• T8 Airport & South Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains via the Airport start and end at Central due to City Circle trackwork. T8 trains do not run between Sydenham and the City. T4 trains run between Sydenham and Bondi Junction, and make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville.
• T9 Northern Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains run to a changed timetable between Hornsby and Central, platforms 1-14 only. Some trains make extra stops at Croydon and Ashfield. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel. Change at Central for metro, light rail or local bus services to continue your journey.
• Blue Mountains Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Strathfield and Central.
• Central Coast & Newcastle Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Strathfield and Central.
• South Coast Line: Buses replace trains between Thirroul and Sutherland. Express buses run between Wollongong, North Wollongong and Sutherland. If travelling to T4 stations or the City catch an express bus to Sutherland then change for a T4 train to continue your journey. Trains run to a changed timetable between South Coast Line stations and Thirroul. T4 trains run between Waterfall, Sutherland and Bondi Junction.

A number of regular Sydney Buses service stops along Anzac Parade near the precinct, including routes 339, 373, 374 and 396. From Bondi Junction Interchange, catch routes 333, 352 or 440 to Oxford Street or catch route 355 buses to Lang Road to get within short walking distance of the stadium.   

Additional late-night services will run after 10pm on routes 373, 396 and 339 to Coogee, Clovelly and Maroubra  to help you get home.    

After the match, express shuttle buses will also run from Moore Park to Central to provide additional transport capacity for fans.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

From Central, change for light rail to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street.   

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner. 

Catch L2 or L3 light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade just south of Allianz Stadium.

Additional light rail services will run before and after the game. Queues are expected, so be patient and allow plenty of extra time, particularly when leaving the stadium. Consider using alternative transport between Central Station and Moore Park, including walking if able to (approximately 25-minutes) or regular bus services, as light rail services will be very busy. L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with trains to Central from Parramatta Station. From Central, catch a L2 or L3 Line service to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade just south of Allianz Stadium.

Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

With up to 35,000 football fans expected, ticketholders are urged to catch public transport and leave the car at home to avoid significant traffic delays and high demand for parking.  

If you must drive, carpool with your group and expect delays on roads approaching the precinct. Traffic will be very heavy as fans travel to the match in the already busy evening peak. Plan to arrive early to secure parking. Grass car parks on Driver Avenue will open at 4.30pm and parking is available at the Entertainment Quarter 24 hours a day. Limited parking will also be available at Sydney Boys and Sydney Girls high schools, and at Moore Park Golf Course.  

Consider parking at a station near you and continuing your trip to Moore Park on public transport to avoid traffic delays. 

Changed traffic conditions  

• Driver Avenue will be partially closed outside the stadium from 5pm and will reopen once crowds have safely cleared the area.  
• No through-traffic will be available on Driver Avenue, however access to EP2 Kippax car park will be maintained via Moore Park Road and access to EP3 grass car park and drop-off areas will be maintained from Lang Road. Grass car parks open from 10am.

If you’re using rideshare to get to the game, use Errol Flynn Boulevard or Driver Avenue for drop off locations.  

A designated drop-off/pick-up location will also be available on Moore Park Road from 80m west of Oatley Road to 75m east of Oatley Road (northern side). 

After the game, there may be restrictions on rideshare pick up locations due to heavy traffic in the area. Select a pick-up location away from the stadium.

Moore Park Car Parks

Parking will be in high demand and will fill quickly. Carpool with your group and aim to arrive early to secure a parking space. 

• Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park: Open 24 hours. Flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Errol Flynn Boulevard from Lang Road. 
• Kippax Park (EP2) grass car park (limited capacity due to upgrade works): Open from 4.30pm. Entry via the northern end of Driver Ave from Moore Park Road. 
• Showground Field (EP3) grass car park: Open from 4.30pm. Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry on Driver Avenue via Lang Road. 
• Sydney Boys High School and Sydney Girls High School: Car Park open from around 4.30pm. Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Cleveland Street. Use the Anzac Parade pedestrian bridge to get to and from Allianz Stadium. 
• Moore Park Golf Course: flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Cleveland Street.

Special Event Clearways

Special event clearways will be in place on roads in Moore Park and surrounding areas from 3pm to midnight on sections of Albion Street, Lang Road and Moore Park Road, and from 6am to midnight on Cleveland Street and Fitzroy Street.  

From 6am to midnight 

• Cleveland Street between South Dowling Street and City Road (southern side) 
• Cleveland Street between Abercrombie Street and South Dowling Street (northern side) 
• Fitzroy Street between South Dowling Street and Bourke Street (northern side) 

From 3pm to midnight 

• Albion Street between Bourke Street and Flinders Street (both sides) 
• Lang Road between Anzac Parade and Errol Flynn Boulevard (northern side) 
• Moore Park Road between Flinders Street and Greens Road (northern side) 
• Moore Park Road between Cook Road and Poate Road (southern side) 
• Moore Park Road from 80m west of Oatley Road to 75m east of Oatley Road (northern side) 

Clearways are strict no-parking zones and also apply to local residents and Mobility Scheme Permit holders. Check signs before parking as vehicles left in special event clearways will be towed and a towing fee applies. If your vehicle is towed, you can search your vehicle registration at the Find My Car website to find its new location, or alternatively call 132 701 to speak to an operator.
