The closest station to the stadium is Broadmeadow on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. The stadium is a short walk from the station.
Remember, you'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on public transport to and from the event. Register your details online at Opal or via the Opal Travel app ahead of time.
If you’re driving, travel with your group and pre-book stadium parking via Ticketmaster or use nearby local parking.

Opal
You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.
Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.

If you have a contactless-enabled American Express, Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card, or a linked device, you can use it to pay for your travel by tapping on and tapping off at Opal card readers. Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
On Saturday catch metro to Epping to connect with Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains to Broadmeadow.
On Sunday, please note that due to planned trackwork Metro services will not run between Tallawong and Sydenham. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- Buses replace services between Tallawong and Chatswood only.
- Use trains between Chatswood, the City and Sydenham.

Planned weekend trackwork is taking place on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 August on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- M1 Metro Line: On Sunday, Metro services do not run between Tallawong and Sydenham. Buses replace services between Tallawong and Chatswood only. Use trains between Chatswood, the City and Sydenham. For travel to and from Waterloo use local buses or trains from Redfern. Train trackwork on the T4 Eastern Suburbs Line may also affect how you travel.
- T1 North Shore Line: On Sunday, Metro trackwork may affect how you travel.
- T1 Western Line: On Saturday from 7.10am to 7pm, buses replace trains between Emu Plains and Penrith. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Penrith and the City. On Sunday, Richmond trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Richmond and Liverpool only. Change trains at Parramatta to continue your journey towards the city. On Sunday from 8am to 7.40pm, buses replace trains between Emu Plains and St Marys. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between St Marys and the City.
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: On Sunday, buses replace Inner West trains between Strathfield and Ashfield. Trains run between Ashfield and the City Circle, some to a changed timetable. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Olympic Park via Granville, or between Leppington and Lidcombe via Regents Park. Change at Lidcombe for trains towards the City. T1 trains run between Lidcombe and the City.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: On Saturday from 6.30am to 10.30am, trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Lidcombe, and between Homebush and the City only. You may need to change trains to continue your journey. T1 and T2 trains run between Lidcombe and the City. On Sunday, buses replace Inner West trains between Strathfield and Ashfield. Trains run between Ashfield and the City Circle, some to a changed timetable. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Lidcombe via Regents Park. Change at Lidcombe for trains towards the City.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: On Sunday, buses replace trains between Central and Bondi Junction. Trackwork buses do not leave from Martin Place Station. Trains run to a changed timetable between Cronulla, Waterfall and North Sydney, with some making extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. Change at Central for buses to Kings Cross and Edgecliff; or at Town Hall for express buses to Bondi Junction. Metro services do not run between Sydenham and Tallawong.
- T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: On Saturday from 6.30am to 10.30am, trains run to a changed timetable and reduced frequency, every 30 minutes. On Sunday, trains run to a changed timetable and reduced frequency, every 30 minutes.
- T7 Olympic Park Line: On Saturday from 4.30pm to 11.50pm, trains do not run between Olympic Park and Lidcombe. Trains run between Olympic Park, Strathfield and the City. Change at Strathfield, not Lidcombe, for trains to Olympic Park. On Sunday, trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Olympic Park and Leppington via Granville. Some T1 trains make extra stops at Lidcombe and Olympic Park.
- T8 Airport & South Line: On Sunday, trains will not run between Sydenham and the City Circle. T4 trains run between Sydenham and North Sydney, making extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. Trains via the Airport run to the normal timetable.
- T9 Northern Line: On Sunday, Metro trackwork may affect how you travel.
- Blue Mountains Line: Buses replace trains between Lithgow and Mount Victoria. On Saturday from 7.10am to 7pm, buses replace trains between Lithgow and Penrith. T1 trains run between Penrith and the City, to a changed timetable. On Saturday from 8pm to 1.30am, trains run between Mount Victoria and Blacktown only. Use T1 trains between Blacktown and the City. On Sunday from 7.10am to 7pm, buses replace trains between Lithgow and Blacktown. T1 trains run between St Marys, Blacktown and the City, to a changed timetable. If travelling to Blue Mountains Line stations change at Blacktown for a bus. Bathurst trains run to a changed timetable. Buses replace some trains.
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: On Sunday, Metro trackwork may affect how you travel.
- South Coast Line: On Sunday, buses replace trains between Central and Bondi Junction. Trackwork buses do not leave from Martin Place Station. Most trains run to a changed timetable between South Coast Line stations and the City Circle. Change at Central for buses to Kings Cross and Edgecliff; or at Town Hall for express buses to Bondi Junction. Metro services do not run between Sydenham and Tallawong.
- Southern Highlands Line: On Sunday, trains that start and end at Central may run up to 15 minutes later than the normal timetable.

Ferries run between Stockton and Queens Wharf approximately every 20 minutes.
At Queens Wharf, change for a light rail service to Newcastle Interchange then connect with trains to Broadmeadow. Alternatively, from King Street near Perkins Street, you can catch a route 13 bus to Lambton Road to get within short walking distance of the stadium.

Newcastle Light Rail services run from 5am to 1am daily between Newcastle Interchange in Wickham and Pacific Park in Newcastle East. With six convenient stops, it’s easy to get around Newcastle’s city centre and connect with train, bus and ferry services.
Catch a light rail service to Newcastle Interchange and change for a train to Broadmeadow where the stadium is within short walking distance.

Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching the stadium as fans travel to and from the match. Carpool with your group and allow extra travel time on roads including Turton Road and Griffiths Road.
For passenger drop-off, use the allocated 10-minute loading zone in the McDonald Jones Stadium car park. Entry is via the driveway off Turton Road.

Drop-Off Zone: motorists may drop off patrons in the stadium's car park in the allocated 10-minute loading zone, accessible via the north driveway (near the Knights supporter store) off Turton Road.
