Important Travel Advice
Olympic Park will be busy on Sunday with around 60,000 NRL fans expected at the Bulldogs v Panthers Semi Final clash at Accor Stadium alongside thousands of Comic-Con attendees at Sydney Showground.
NRL fans are urged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid getting caught in traffic delays.
Transport:
- Match tickets include travel on all modes of public transport, making public transport the easiest way to get there. Simply show your match ticket to transport staff when boarding services.
- Trains run regularly to Lidcombe where you can head to Platform Zero for a direct train to Olympic Park, running every 10 minutes until late. From Olympic Park station, the stadium is a short 10-minute walk away. See our Olympic Park transport map (pdf 551KB) to find your way.
- Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will run on all nine routes every 7 to 20 minutes between 12.35pm and 2.59pm, depending on the route. Buses will arrive at the precinct from around 2pm until 3.45pm. Last return bus leaves Olympic Park at 7pm. See the Major Event Bus route map (pdf 238KB).
- Southwest Link buses run regularly between Sydenham and Bankstown. Catch a bus to Bankstown to connect with T6 Line trains to Lidcombe then Olympic Park.
If you have no other option but to drive, you must have pre-booked parking:
- Pre-book parking online ahead of time to secure a space. A flat rate $35 parking fee applies.
- If you have pre-booked parking, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry.
- Be aware that when leaving after the match, traffic will be very heavy as everyone will be leaving at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour additional travel time exiting car parks.
- You can also consider parking at a nearby train station commuter carpark and continuing your trip by train or bus to Olympic Park, at no extra cost.
- Carpool with your group and allow plenty of extra travel time as traffic will be heavy. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
If you're getting dropped off/picked up or catching rideshare and taxis:
- Taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Avenue.
- After the match, demand for taxis and rideshare will be high and prices are likely to be surging. Avoid the traffic delays while roads are closed by considering catching a train or bus outside of the precinct to connect with your ride faster.
Match Ticket Entitlements
Valid pre-purchased tickets to the 2025 NRL Semi Final at Accor Stadium on Sunday 21 September includes travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the following transport services. Just show your event ticket to Transport staff when boarding services:
- Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations) * International and Domestic Airport Station access fee not included.
- Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
- Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses
- Sydney Metro services.
- Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services
- Sydney and Newcastle Ferries
Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on trains until 4am the following day.
Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.
Transport Park&Ride Car Parks
Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.
Tickets to 2025 NRL Semi Final at Accor Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late.
Change at Epping or Central to connect with train services towards Lidcombe then Olympic Park.
Please note that due to planned trackwork from 9.50pm, metro services do not run between Central and Sydenham. Services run between Tallawong and Martin Place, and between Martin Place and Central only. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Connect with Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses routes 1A, 1B, 5A and 5B from the following North West Metro stations to get to the match:
- Route 1A: Chatswood and North Ryde stations
- Route 1B: Macquarie Park Station
- Route 5A: Hills Showground and Castle Hill stations
- Route 5B: Tallawong, Rouse Hill, Kellyville, Bella Vista and Norwest stations
Commuter Car Parks
If you have to drive consider parking at one of the commuter car parks at Metro North West stations and connecting with Major Event Buses Route 5A or 5B to Olympic Park.
Large commuter car parks are located at the following stations:
- Tallawong – 1000 spaces
- Kellyville – 1360 spaces
- Bella Vista – 800 spaces
- Hills Showground – 600 spaces

Trackwork
Planned trackwork is taking place on Sunday 21 September on the following lines and may affect how you travel. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- M1 Metro Line: From 9.50pm, metro services do not run between Central and Sydenham. Services run between Tallawong and Martin Place, and between Martin Place and Central only. Change at Martin Place for metro services towards Tallawong or Central, or T4 trains to Sydenham. For travel to and from Waterloo use local buses or trains from Redfern.
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: Buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington and the City via Regents Park. From 6.20am to 10.30am, buses replace Inner West trains between Ashfield and Central. Leppington trains make extra stops at Homebush and Croydon.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington and the City. You may need to change trains if travelling to Inner West stations. From 6.20am to 10.30am, buses replace Inner West trains between Ashfield and Central. Trains run between Leppington and the City.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Buses replace trains between Central and Bondi Junction. Trackwork buses do not leave from Martin Place Station. Trains run to a changed timetable between Cronulla, Waterfall and North Sydney, with some making extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. Change at Central for buses to Kings Cross and Edgecliff, or metro services to Martin Place; or change at Town Hall for express buses to Bondi Junction.
- T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington and the City via Regents Park, and between Schofields and Olympic Park. Change at Lidcombe for trains towards Leppington; or change at Cabramatta or Granville for buses to Canley Vale, Fairfield, Yennora, Guildford or Merrylands.
- T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and reduced frequency, every 30 minutes.
- T8 Airport & South Line: Trains will not run between Sydenham and the City Circle. T4 trains run between Sydenham and North Sydney, making extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. Trains via the Airport run to the normal timetable.
- Blue Mountains Line: Some trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Blacktown and Lidcombe.
- South Coast Line: Buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Wollongong. Trains run between Port Kembla, Wollongong and Central, some to a changed timetable. Buses do not run to the train timetable. If connecting with trains at Wollongong you may need to catch an earlier bus to ensure you meet your train connection. Buses replace trains between Central and Bondi Junction. Trackwork buses do not leave from Martin Place Station. Most trains run to a changed timetable between South Coast Line stations and the City Circle.

Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will run on all nine routes from the Northern Beaches, Inner West, Sutherland Shire, North Western Suburbs, Hills District and Southern Suburbs for the NRL Semi Final Bulldogs v Panthers clash.
Travel on Major Event Buses is included in your match ticket – simply show your ticket to the bus driver when boarding services.

- To Olympic Park: services will run every 7 to 20 minutes between 12.35pm and 2.59pm, depending on the route. Buses will arrive at the precinct from around 2pm until 3.45pm.
- Route 1A from Narrabeen Lakes: first bus departs at 12.35pm, last bus departs at 2.20pm.
- Route 1B from Warriewood B-Line: first bus departs at 12.42pm, last bus departs at 2.27pm.
- Route 2 from Glebe Point: first bus departs at 1.03pm, last bus departs at 2.48pm.
- Route 4 from Maroubra Beach: first bus departs at 12.40pm, last bus departs at 2.25pm.
- Route 5A from Hills Showground Station: first bus departs at 1.14pm, last bus departs at 2.59pm.
- Route 5B from Tallawong Station: first bus departs at 12.58pm, last bus departs at 2.43pm.
- Route 6 from Sutherland Station: first bus departs at 12.54pm last bus departs at 2.39pm.
- Route 7 from Shark Park Cronulla: first bus departs at 12.34pm, last bus departs at 2.19pm.
- Route 8 from Dural: first bus departs at 1.08pm, last bus departs at 2.53pm.
- From Olympic Park: services will leave Olympic Park approximately every 5 minutes after the match, with the last bus on each route leaving the precinct by 7pm.
Routes 1A, 1B, 2 and 4 drop off and pick up from the Aquatic Terminal on Olympic Boulevarde near Herb Elliott Avenue.
Routes 5A, 5B, 6, 7 and 8 drop off and pick up from the Plaza Terminal on Olympic Boulevarde near Kevin Coombs Avenue, opposite Qudos Bank Arena.

The closest wharf to Accor Stadium is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching Sydney Olympic Park as footy fans travel to and from the precinct. Travel with your group and allow extra travel time on the M4, Parramatta Road, Homebush Bay Drive and Concord Road.
Consider catching public transport or parking at a nearby station commuter carpark and continuing your trip by train to Olympic Park to avoid traffic delays. Match tickets include travel on public transport.
