Important Travel Advice
Ticketholders are encouraged to leave the car at home and consider the public transport to avoid getting caught in weeknight peak traffic delays.
- Trains run regularly to Olympic Park from Lidcombe and the venue is a short walk from the station. Additional services will run to Olympic Park for the show
- You'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on public transport to and from the event. Register your details online at Opal or via the Opal Travel app ahead of time.
- Trackwork: Please note light rail trackwork in the City may affect how you travel. L2 and L3 light rail services do not run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford or Randwick. Buses replace L2 and L3 services between Central Chalmers Street and Juniors Kingsford or Randwick.
- If you need to drive, pre-book parking to guarantee a car space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event. Carpool with your group and allow extra travel time. Delays are expected as attendees travel in the busy evening peak
- If you have pre-booked parking, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. Allow plenty of extra travel time on roads and plan your trip before leaving home. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
- After the show, traffic will be heavy as everyone leaves at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour of additional travel time exiting car parks
- You can also consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing your trip by train to Olympic Park
- If you're getting dropped off or catching rideshare, taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Avenue.
Opal
You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.
Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.
More ways to pay
If you have a contactless-enabled American Express, Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card, or a linked device, you can use it to pay for your travel by tapping on and tapping off at Opal card readers. Available on all public transport, contactless payments are another way to pay on the Opal network. Adult Opal fare pricing applies and you will receive Opal benefits, including daily and weekly fare caps.
Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Tallawong Station and Chatswood Station.
The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late.
Change at Epping or Central for trains towards Lidcombe then Olympic Park.

The closest station to Qudos Bank Arena is Olympic Park.
Trains run regularly to Lidcombe where you can head to Platform Zero for a direct train to Olympic Park, running every 10 minutes until 12.30am.
To help you get to the show, the following additional trains will also run:
- Leaving Blacktown at 5.34pm – stopping at Parramatta, Lidcombe then Olympic Park.
- Leaving Liverpool at 5.45pm – stopping at Cabramatta, Fairfield, Granville, Lidcombe then Olympic Park
Trackwork
Trackwork is taking place on Wednesday 3 December on the following lines and may affect how you travel. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- T1 Western Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, Penrith trains run to a changed timetable and make extra stops at some stations between Parramatta and Ashfield
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, Inner West trains do not run. T1 or T9 trains make extra stops at some stations between Parramatta and Central, to a changed timetable. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Olympic Park. You will need to change trains if travelling to Museum, St James or Circular Quay.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, Inner West trains do not run. T1 or T9 trains make extra stops at some stations between Lidcombe and Central, to a changed timetable. Trains run between Liverpool and Lidcombe only. You will need to change trains if travelling to Museum, St James or Circular Quay.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: From 9.40pm to 2.30am, buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland. Trains run to a changed timetable between Waterfall, Sutherland and Bondi Junction.
- T5 Cumberland Line: From 11.50pm to 1.30am, some trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond or Leppington and Olympic Park only. Some trains start and end at Granville. You may need to change trains at Granville to continue your journey.
- T9 Northern Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains run to a changed timetable and make extra stops at stations between Ashfield and Central.
- Blue Mountains Line: From 9.40pm to 2am, some trains leave Central 6 minutes earlier than the normal timetable
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: From 9.40pm to 2am, trains run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Strathfield and Central. Buses replace the 01.47 Central to Newcastle Interchange service from Central to Hornsby. Replacement buses leave Central at 1.23am, 24 minutes earlier than the normal train timetable.
- Hunter Line: From 8am to 1pm, buses replace trains between Newcastle Interchange and Telarah or Muswellbrook. The 08:29 Newcastle Interchange to Dungog will not run. Catch the 08:48 Newcastle Interchange to Telarah train and change at Maitland for a bus towards Dungog. Buses also replace the 10:02 Dungog to Newcastle Interchange service.
- South Coast Line: From 10pm to 2am, trains run between South Coast Line stations and the City Circle.

The following Sydney buses services run to Olympic Park:
- Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park via Newington.
- Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.
- Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.

The closest wharf to Qudos Bank Arena is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park but services are popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you're planning on catching a F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Change at Central for trains to Lidcombe then Olympic Park.
Please note that L2/L3 light rail services will not operate from 9pm due to planned trackwork. Buses replace L2 and L3 services between Central Chalmers Street and Juniors Kingsford or Randwick, also from 9.40pm trains do not run on the City Circle or between Wynyard and Central. L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using Trip Planner.
Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service towards Lidcombe then Olympic Park from Parramatta Station.
Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

Ticketholders should consider public transport options available to avoid lengthy delays and the high demand for parking. Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the precinct as attendees travel to the concert during the busy evening peaks.
If you have to drive, travel with your group and allow extra travel time on the M4, Parramatta Road, Homebush Bay Drive and Concord Road.
Pre-book your parking ahead of time to secure a space – available until 11:59pm the night before the show unless sold out prior.
To get to your carpark and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout, use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road. If you have pre-booked a space, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry.
Changed traffic conditions

Olympic Park car parks
Visit Sydney Olympic Park – Parking to secure your parking space ahead of the event, available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior. A flat rate $35 parking fee will apply
If you have pre-booked a space, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time.
Use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road to get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout. Traffic delays are expected after the event as attendees leave the precinct during busy weeknight peaks.

Train Station commuter parking
A number of key train stations have large commuter car parks, so consider parking at a station near you then catching a train to Olympic Park.
- T1 Western Line: Seven Hills, Blacktown, Rooty Hill, St Marys, Emu Plains and Penrith.
- T1 North Shore & T9 Northern Line: Gordon, Thornleigh and Concord West.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Sutherland and Kogarah.
- T8 Airport & South Line: Padstow, Revesby, Fairfield, Warwick Farm, Glenfield, Holsworthy, Macarthur, Campbelltown and Leumeah.
Transport Park&Ride Car Parks
