You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.

Trackwork
Planned trackwork is taking place on Tuesday 17 February on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner:
- T1 North Shore Line: from 9.20pm to 1.30am, buses replace trains from Hornsby to Milsons Point. The last train from Hornsby to the City leaves Hornsby at 21:12, arriving Wynyard at 21:55. From 9.50pm to 1.30am, buses replace trains from Milsons Point to Hornsby. The last train to Hornsby leaves Wynyard at 21:53, arriving Hornsby at 22:36. The last train to Gordon leaves Wynyard at 21:56, arriving Gordon at 22:25. Replacement buses also stop at Crows Nest and Victoria Cross metro stations. Use metro services between Chatswood, Crows Nest or Victoria Cross and the City. T9 Northern Line trains run between Berowra or Hornsby and Central, platforms 1-14. Some late-night buses run between T1 North Shore Line stations and Wynyard.
- T1 Western Line: from 9pm to 1.30am, trains run to a changed timetable and make extra stops at some stations between Parramatta and Burwood. From 9.50pm to 1.30am, trains run between Penrith and Central, platforms 1-14 only. If travelling to T1 North Shore Line stations use metro services to Victoria Cross, Crows Nest or Chatswood then change for replacement buses.
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: From 8.50pm to 10.40pm, Inner West trains run between Olympic Park and the City Circle. Some T1 Western Line trains make extra stops between Parramatta and Homebush.
- T9 Northern Line: From 9.10pm to 1.30am, trains run between Berowra or Hornsby and Central, platforms 1-14 only. For travel to T1 North Shore Line stations change at Hornsby for replacement buses or use metro services from Epping or Central to Victoria Cross, Crows Nest or Chatswood then change for replacement buses.
- Blue Mountains Line: Buses replace trains between Lithgow and Mount Victoria. Trains run between Mount Victoria and Central, some to a changed timetable. Bathurst trains run to a changed timetable between Bathurst and Lithgow or Central.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). From Central, change to the L1 Line light rail service leaving from the Grand Concourse to get to Leichhardt North, which is a short walk to the oval via Mary Street.
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service to Central from Parramatta Station. From Central, change to an L1 Line service leaving from the Grand Concourse to get to Leichhardt North.
Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching Leichhardt Oval as fans travel to the match. Allow extra travel time on roads including James Street, Perry Street, Balmain Road, Mary Street and Glover Street.
A section of Mary Street may be close before the game and will reopen when crowds have cleared the area. Traffic will be detoured via Chapel Street if the closure is in place.
