Important Travel Advice
Attendees are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.
Trains run regularly to Olympic Park from Lidcombe and the venue is a short walk from the station.
You'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on public transport to and from the event. Register your details online at Opal or via the Opal Travel app ahead of time.
If you need to drive, pre-book parking to guarantee a car space. - available until 11:59pm the night before the event

Opal
You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.
Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.
More ways to pay
If you have a contactless-enabled American Express, Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card, or a linked device, you can use it to pay for your travel by tapping on and tapping off at Opal card readers. Available on all public transport, contactless payments are another way to pay on the Opal network. Adult Opal fare pricing applies and you will receive Opal benefits, including daily and weekly fare caps.
Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Tallawong Station and Chatswood Station.
The M1 North West & Bankstown Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late.
Change at Epping or Central for trains towards Lidcombe then Olympic Park.

The closest station to Qudos Bank Arena is Olympic Park.
Trains run regularly to Lidcombe where you can head to Platform Zero for a direct train to Olympic Park, running every 10 minutes until 12.30am.
To help you get to the event, the following additional services will run:
- Leaving Blacktown at 6.14pm – stopping at Parramatta, Lidcombe then Olympic Park
- Leaving Liverpool at 5.45pm – stopping at Cabramatta, Fairfield, Granville, Lidcombe then Olympic Park
Trackwork
Trackwork is taking place on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 February on the following lines and may affect how you travel. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- T1 Western Line: From 9pm to 1.30am, trains run to a changed timetable and make extra stops at some stations between Parramatta and Burwood.
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: On Wednesday from 10.30pm to 1.30am, Inner West trains run between Ashfield and the City Circle only. Leppington trains do not stop at Ashfield or Newtown. T1 Western Line trains make extra stops at Homebush and Burwood. T9 Northern Line trains make extra stops at Croydon and Ashfield. You may need to change trains to continue your journey.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: On Wednesday from 10.20pm to 1.30am, trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Lidcombe only. Change trains at Lidcombe to continue your journey. Inner West trains run between Ashfield and the City Circle. T1 Western Line trains make extra stops at Homebush and Burwood. T9 Northern Line trains make extra stops at Croydon and Ashfield.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Nightly from 9.50pm to 1.30am, buses replace trains between Central and Bondi Junction, but do not stop at Martin Place. Most trains run to a changed timetable between Waterfall or Cronulla and the City Circle, with some making extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. Change at: Sydenham or Central for metro services to Martin Place, Central for buses to Kings Cross and Edgecliff or Town Hall for express buses to Bondi Junction. Nightly from 10.10pm to 1.30am, trains do not stop at Wolli Creek but make an extra stop at Arncliffe. Buses run between Sydenham, Wolli Creek and Arncliffe. Change at Arncliffe or Sydenham for a bus to Wolli Creek or change at Central for a T8 Airport train if you have luggage or accessibility needs.
- T8 Airport & South Line: Nightly from 9.50pm to 1.30am, trains between Sydenham and the City Circle run to a changed timetable. Nightly from 10.10pm to 1.30am, trackwork at Wolli Creek may affect how you travel to T4 or South Coast Line stations. T4 and South Coast trains do not stop at Wolli Creek. Buses run between Sydenham, Wolli Creek and Arncliffe. Change at Central if you have luggage or accessibility needs.
- T9 Northern Line: On Wednesday from 10.30pm to 1.30am, trains make extra stops at Croydon and Ashfield.
- Blue Mountains Line: Buses replace trains between Lithgow and Mount Victoria. Trains run between Mount Victoria and Central, some to a changed timetable. Bathurst trains run to a changed timetable between Bathurst and Lithgow or Central.
- Hunter Line: On Wednesday from 8am to 1pm, buses replace trains between Newcastle Interchange and Telarah or Muswellbrook. The 08:29 Newcastle Interchange to Dungog will not run. Catch the 08:48 Newcastle Interchange to Telarah train and change at Maitland for a bus towards Dungog. Buses also replace the 10:02 Dungog to Newcastle Interchange service.
- South Coast Line: Nightly from 9.50pm to 1.30am, buses replace trains between Central and Bondi Junction, but do not stop at Martin Place. Trains run to a changed timetable between South Coast Line stations and Central, platforms 1-14. Change at Central for buses to Kings Cross, Edgecliff and Bondi Junction or metro services to Martin Place. Nightly from 10.40pm to 1.30am, trains do not stop at Wolli Creek but make extra stops at Arncliffe and Sydenham. Buses run between Sydenham, Wolli Creek and Arncliffe. Change at Arncliffe or Sydenham for a bus to Wolli Creek or change at Central for a T8 Airport train if you have luggage or accessibility needs.

The following Sydney buses services run to Olympic Park:
- Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park via Newington.
- Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.
- Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.

The closest wharf to Qudos Bank Arena is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park but services are popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you're planning on catching a F3 Parramatta River service. L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using Trip Planner.
Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service towards Olympic Park from Parramatta Station.
Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching Sydney Olympic Park as attendees travel to and from the show during the busy evening peaks. Travel with your group and allow extra travel time on the M4, Parramatta Road, Homebush Bay Drive and Concord Road.
If you have to drive, carpool with your group, pre-book your parking ahead of time to secure a space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior.
To get to your carpark and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout, use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road.
Road Closures

Visit Sydney Olympic Park - Parking to secure your parking space ahead of the event. A flat rate $35 parking fee will apply.
If you have pre-booked a space, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time.
Use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road to get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout. Traffic delays are expected after the event as attendees leave the precinct.
