Important Travel Advice
Attendees are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.
Trains run regularly to Olympic Park from Lidcombe and the venue is a short walk from the station.
You'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on public transport to and from the event. Register your details online at Opal or via the Opal Travel app ahead of time.
Please note evening trackwork may affect your trip home. From 9.20pm to 1.30am, buses replace Inner West trains between Strathfield and Central. Express trains continue to run. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Olympic Park, change at Lidcombe for trains towards Central. From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains will not run on the City Circle, or between Central and Wynyard. For travel in the City, use T4 trains, metro, light rail or local buses. For travel to T1 North Shore Line stations change at Wynyard or use metro services from Central. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
If you have to drive, carpool with your group and pre-book your parking online ahead of time to secure a space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior. Note P6 car park is closed due to Easter Show infrastructure.

Opal
You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.
Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.
More ways to pay
If you have a contactless-enabled American Express, Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card, or a linked device, you can use it to pay for your travel by tapping on and tapping off at Opal card readers. Available on all public transport, contactless payments are another way to pay on the Opal network. Adult Opal fare pricing applies and you will receive Opal benefits, including daily and weekly fare caps.
Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
The M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late.
Change at Epping or Central for trains towards Lidcombe then Olympic Park.

Trains run regularly to Lidcombe where you can head to Platform Zero for a direct train to Olympic Park, running every 10 minutes until 12:30am
To help you get to the event, the following additional services will run from Blacktown and Liverpool:
- Leaving Blacktown at 5.34pm - stopping at Parramatta, Lidcombe then Olympic Park
- Leaving Liverpool at 5.45pm - stopping at Cabramatta, Fairfield, Granville, Lidcombe then Olympic Park

Planned trackwork is taking place on Tuesday 24 March that may affect how you travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- City Circle: from 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains do not run on the City Circle, or between Central and Wynyard. For travel in the City use T4 trains, metro, light rail or local buses. For travel to T1 North Shore Line stations change at Wynyard or use metro services from Central. Trackwork also affects trains on other lines.
- T1 North Shore Line: from 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains run between Berowra and Wynyard only, some to a changed timetable. Trains do not run between Wynyard and Central, or on the City Circle. Use metro services between Chatswood and the City or change at Wynyard for the light rail.
- T1 Western Line: from 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains run to a changed timetable between Penrith and Central, platforms 1-14 only, making extra stops at some stations between Parramatta and Burwood. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel.
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: From 10.30am to 1.30pm, buses replace trains between Leppington and Liverpool. Trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and the City via Granville. T8 Airport & South Line trains run between Glenfield and the City via the Airport. From 9.20pm to 1.30am, buses replace Inner West trains between Strathfield and Central. Express trains continue to run. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Olympic Park. Change at Lidcombe for trains towards Central. T1 Western Line trains make extra stops at Flemington, Homebush and Burwood. Some T9 Northern Line trains make extra stops at Croydon and Ashfield. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel. Change at Central for T4 trains, metro, light rail or local buses to continue your journey.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: from 9.20pm, buses replace Inner West trains between Strathfield and Central. Express trains continue to run. Trains run between Liverpool and Lidcombe only. Change at Lidcombe for trains towards Central. T1 Western Line trains make extra stops at Flemington, Homebush and Burwood. Some T9 Northern Line trains make extra stops at Croydon and Ashfield. - T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: from 9.40pm to 1.30am, some trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel.
- T5 Cumberland Line: From 10.30am to 1.30pm, buses replace trains between Leppington and Liverpool. Trains run between Liverpool and Schofields, some to a changed timetable. From 11.50pm to 1.30am, some trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond or Leppington and Olympic Park. Some trains start and end at Granville. You may need to change trains at Granville to continue your journey.
- T8 Airport & South Line: from 9.30pm to 1.30am, trains via the Airport start and end at Central due to City Circle trackwork. For travel in the City use T4 trains, metro, light rail or local buses. T8 trains do not run between Sydenham and the City. T4 trains run between Sydenham and Bondi Junction, making extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville.
- T9 Northern Line: from 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains run to a changed timetable between Hornsby and Central, platforms 1-14 only. Some trains make extra stops at Croydon and Ashfield. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel. Change at Central for T4 trains, metro, light rail or local buses to continue your journey.
- Blue Mountains Line: from 8.30pm to 2.40am, buses replace trains between Lithgow and Springwood. Buses may leave stations from Lithgow to Faulconbridge up to 15 minutes earlier than the normal train timetable. Trains run between Springwood and Central, to a changed timetable.

The following Sydney bus services run to Olympic Park:
- Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park via Newington.
- Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.
- Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.

The closest wharf to Qudos Bank Arena is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.
F3 Parramatta River ferries may be affected by low tide between Parramatta and Rydalmere and replaced by buses. Check for updates here.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service towards Olympic Park from Parramatta Station.
Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the precinct as attendees travel to the concert during the busy evening peak.
Travel with your group and allow extra travel time on the M4, Parramatta Road, Homebush Bay Drive and Concord Road. Pre-book your parking online ahead of time to secure a space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior.
To get to your carpark and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout, use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road.
Road Closures
Road closures and changes to parklands will be in place within the Sydney Olympic Park Precinct before, during and after the Easter Show for event set up and pack down.

- Australia Avenue from Murray Rose Avenue to Kevin Coombs Avenue.
- Showground Road from Murray Rose Avenue to Grand Parade.
- Grand Parade from Olympic Boulevard to Australia Avenue.

Note P6 car park is closed due to infrastructure in place for the Easter Show.
Visit Sydney Olympic Park – Parking to secure your parking space ahead of the event, available until 23:59 the night before unless sold out prior. A flat rate $35 parking fee will apply.
If you have pre-booked a space, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time.
Use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road to get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout. Traffic delays are expected after the event as attendees leave the precinct.
