Important Travel Advice
Footy fans are urged to plan their trip and catch public transport to avoid heavy traffic and the high demand for parking. The precinct will be very busy with the Sydney Royal Easter Show also taking place.
- Match tickets include travel on public transport, simply show your ticket to transport staff when boarding services.
- Take advantage of the many additional express and limited stop trains running for the Easter Show from Central and key Western Line stations.
- Southwest Link buses run regularly between Sydenham and Bankstown. Catch buses to Bankstown or Sydenham to connect with trains to Lidcombe then Olympic Park.
- If you have to drive, carpool with your group and pre-book your parking online ahead of time to secure a space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior. Have your parking ticket ready to show the attendant at the gates when you arrive. Note that P5 & P6 car parks are closed due to Easter Show infrastructure.
- Use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road to get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout. Traffic delays are expected after the event as attendees leave the precinct.
- Consider parking at a nearby commuter car park and continuing your trip by train to Olympic Park, at no extra cost.
- Significant traffic delays are expected on roads approaching the precinct while the Easter Show is on and during weeknight peak travel times. Allow plenty of extra travel time, you can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.

Match Ticket Entitlements
Valid pre-purchased tickets to 2026 NRL season home games at Accor Stadium includes travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the following transport services. Just show your event ticket to Transport staff when boarding services:
- Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
- Sydney Metro services
- Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
- Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services
- Sydney and Newcastle Ferries
Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on trains until 4am the following day.
Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.
Transport Park&Ride Car Parks
Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.
Tickets to 2026 NRL season home games at Accor Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.
If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
The M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late.
Change at Central to connect with express trains to Olympic Park. Alternatively, change at Epping for a train to Strathfield then Olympic Park.

The closest station to Accor Stadium is Olympic Park.
Trains run regularly to Lidcombe where you can head to Platform Zero for a direct train to Olympic Park, running every 10 minutes until late.
Additional trains will run for the Sydney Royal Easter Show that footy fans can utilise to get to and from the match.
Trackwork
Planned trackwork is taking place on Thursday 9 April on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: From 9.50pm to 2.30am, buses replace trains between Sutherland and Hurstville. Trains run between Cronulla, Waterfall and Sutherland and between Hurstville and Bondi Junction, to a changed timetable.
- T9 Northern Line: From 9.50pm to 2am, buses replace trains between Hornsby and Rhodes. Trains run between Rhodes and the City, to a changed timetable. Metro services run between Epping and the City.
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: From 10pm to 2am, trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Hornsby only. Buses replace T9 Northern Line trains between Hornsby and Rhodes. Express buses also run between Hornsby and Strathfield. T1 North Shore Line trains run between Hornsby and the City via Chatswood. Friday buses replace the 01:47 Central to Newcastle Interchange service from Central to Hornsby. Replacement buses leave Central at 1.21am, 26 minutes earlier than the normal train timetable.
- South Coast Line: From 10.20pm to 2.30am, trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Sutherland and Hurstville.

Regular route buses
The following Sydney bus services run to Olympic Park:
- Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park via Newington.
- Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.
- Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.
Bus Diversions
From 4am Thursday 2 April to 4am Tuesday 14 April buses in Olympic Park will be using different stops and routes while roads are closed in the precinct for the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Stops on Park Street at Olympic Park Station and on Dawn Fraser Avenue will be closed.
- Routes 525 and 526 in both directions will use alternative stops on Edwin Flack Avenue and a temporary stop on Dawn Fraser Avenue at Park St near the train station (Stop ID 212799).
- Routes 533 and N81 in both directions will use a temporary stop on Dawn Fraser Avenue at Park Street near the train station (Stop ID 212799).
Check signs at stops for alternative stop locations and allow extra travel time to walk to the alternative stops.

The closest wharf to Accor Stadium is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.
F3 Parramatta River ferries may be affected by low tide between Parramatta and Rydalmere and replaced by buses. Check for updates here (pdf 77KB).

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service towards Olympic Park from Parramatta Station.

- Dawn Fraser Avenue from Edwin Flack Avenue to Showground Road (accessible drop-off/pick-up and Show drop-off/pick-up – Edwin Flack Avenue to Fig Grove).
- Dawn Fraser Avenue from Showground Road to Park Street.
- Dawn Fraser Avenue from Park Street to Australia Avenue (eastbound only).
- Park Street from Dawn Fraser Avenue to Herb Elliott Avenue (northbound only).
- Murray Rose Avenue from Park Street to the west side of the entrance or carpark P6D.
- Australia Avenue from Dawn Fraser Avenue to Murray Rose Avenue.
- Shirley Strickland Avenue from Rod Laver Drive to Olympic Boulevard.
- Shirley Strickland Avenue from Olympic Boulevard to the M4 Exit (P4 car park).
- Rod Laver Drive from Shirley Strickland Avenue to the Tennis Centre.
- Shane Gould Avenue at P2A Car Park. (eastern direction).

Sydney Olympic Car Parks
Visit Sydney Olympic Park – Parking to secure your parking space ahead of the game. A flat rate $35 parking fee will apply.
Please note that P5 & P6 car parks are closed due to infrastructure in place for the Easter Show.
Alternatively, consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing the trip to Olympic Park by train. Match tickets include travel on public transport.

A number of key train stations have large commuter car parks, so consider parking at a station near you then continuing your journey by train to Olympic Park.
- T1 Western Line: Seven Hills, Blacktown, Rooty Hill, St Marys, Emu Plains and Penrith.
- T1 North Shore & T9 Northern Line: Gordon, Thornleigh and Concord West.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Sutherland and Kogarah.
- T8 Airport & South Line: Padstow, Revesby, Fairfield, Warwick Farm, Glenfield, Holsworthy, Macarthur, Campbelltown and Leumeah.
