Important Travel Advice
Olympic Park will be extremely busy on Good Friday with more than 100,000 people expected at the Easter Show in addition to 30,000 footy fans at Accor Stadium. Footy fans are urged to plan their trip and consider the public transport options to avoid the heavy traffic and demand for parking.
Match tickets include travel on public transport and plenty of extra services including express trains and additional buses will run.
Please note metro services will not operate over the Easter Long Weekend. Buses replace services between Tallawong and Chatswood only. Use trains between Epping or Chatswood and Sydenham. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
If you must drive, it is essential that you pre-book your parking online ahead of time to secure a space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior. Note P5 & P6 car park is closed due to Easter Show infrastructure.
Traffic delays are expected on roads approaching the precinct as fans travel to and from the match. Allow plenty of extra travel time if you need to drive. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.

Match Ticket Entitlements
Valid pre-purchased tickets to 2026 NRL season home games at Accor Stadium includes travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the following transport services. Just show your event ticket to Transport staff when boarding services:
- Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
- Sydney Metro services
- Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
- Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services
- Sydney and Newcastle Ferries
Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on trains until 4am the following day.
Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.
Transport Park&Ride Car Parks
Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.
Tickets to 2026 NRL Rabbitohs season home games at Accor Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.
If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Planned Trackwork – Easter long weekend
- Metro services do not run between Tallawong and Sydenham.
- Buses replace services between Tallawong and Chatswood only.
- For travel to and from Waterloo use local buses or trains from Redfern.
- Use trains between Epping or Chatswood, the City and Sydenham

The closest station to Qudos Bank Arena is Olympic Park.
Take advantage of the many additional express and limited stop trains running for the Easter Show from Central and key western line stations.
Trains also regularly to Lidcombe where you can connect with a direct train to Olympic Park, running every 10 minutes until late.
Southwest Link buses run regularly between Sydenham and Bankstown. Catch a bus to Bankstown or Sydenham to connect with trains to Lidcombe then Olympic Park.
Trackwork

Regular route buses
The following Sydney bus services run to Olympic Park:
- Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park via Newington.
- Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.
- Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.
Bus Diversions
From 4am Thursday 2 April to 4am Tuesday 14 April buses in Olympic Park will be using different stops and routes while roads are closed in the precinct for the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Stops on Park Street at Olympic Park Station and on Dawn Fraser Avenue will be closed.
- Routes 525 and 526 in both directions will use alternative stops on Edwin Flack Avenue and a temporary stop on Dawn Fraser Avenue at Park St near the train station (Stop ID 212799).
- Routes 533 and N81 in both directions will use a temporary stop on Dawn Fraser Avenue at Park Street near the train station (Stop ID 212799).
Check signs at stops for alternative stop locations and allow extra travel time to walk to the alternative stops.

The closest wharf to Accor Stadium is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line

Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with trains to Olympic Park from Parramatta Station.

If you’re driving to the match, travel with your group and allow plenty of extra time on the roads as traffic will be heavier than usual approaching Olympic Park over the Easter Long Weekend with thousands of people attending the Royal Easter Show.
Heavy traffic is expected on the M4 Mwy, Homebush Bay Dr, Concord Rd, Silverwater Rd, Centenary Drive, Lane Cove Rd and Epping Rd.
If you must drive, it’s essential to pre-book parking online in advance. Parking in Olympic Park is likely to sell out so get in early and secure your parking space now.
To get to your carpark and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout, use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road.
Consider catching public transport or parking at a nearby station commuter carpark and continuing your trip by train to Olympic Park to avoid traffic delays. Match tickets include travel on public transport.

Sydney Olympic Car Parks

If you must drive, it is essential that you pre-book your parking online ahead of time to secure a space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior. A flat rate $35 parking fee will apply.
The closest car park to the stadium is P1. Note P5 & P6 car parks are closed due to infrastructure in place for the Easter Show.
Alternatively, consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing the trip to Olympic Park by train. Match tickets include travel on public transport.
If you have pre-booked a space, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time. Use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road to get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout.
