Ticket entitlements

Valid pre-purchased tickets to State of Origin Game I at Accor Stadium on Wednesday 27 May include travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the following public transport services – just show your event ticket to Transport staff when boarding services:  

• Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations) * International and Domestic Airport Station access fee not included.
• Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
• Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses
• Sydney Metro services
• Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services
• Sydney and Newcastle Ferries 

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on public transport until 4am the following day.  

* Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements. 

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.

Tickets the State of Origin Game I include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham. Metro services start running from early morning until late at night.  

Change at Central to connect with express trains running to Olympic Park. Alternatively, you can connect with Major Event Buses to Olympic Park from Metro North West stations, details below.

Connect with Major Event Buses

Connect with Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses routes 1A, 1B, 5A and 5B from the following North West Metro stations to get to the match:

• Route 1A: Chatswood and North Ryde stations
• Route 1B: Macquarie Park Station
• Route 5A: Hills Showground and Castle Hill stations
• Route 5B: Tallawong, Rouse Hill, Kellyville, Bella Vista and Norwest stations

Commuter Car Parks

If you have to drive consider parking at one of the commuter car parks at Metro North West stations and connecting with Major Event Buses Route 5A or 5B to Olympic Park.

Large commuter car parks are located at the following stations:

• Tallawong – 1000 spaces
• Kellyville – 1,389 parking spaces, including 97 accessible car spaces. A temporary overflow car park has opened at the corner of Decora Drive and Darani Avenue, offering 150 extra spaces until mid-2026.
• Bella Vista – 800 spaces
• Hills Showground – 600 spaces

The closest station to Accor Stadium is Olympic Park. From the station, it’s a short 10-minute walk via Olympic Boulevarde to the stadium. 

Express trains to Olympic Park and regular services to Lidcombe will run frequently before and after the match to get you there and home again.

Travel on trains is included in your match ticket, simply show your ticket to staff when boarding services. 

Getting there 

• From Central: special express trains will run every 7 to 8 minutes from 3.38pm stopping at Redfern, Strathfield then Olympic Park.  
• Trains also run regularly to Lidcombe where you can head to Platform Zero for a direct train to Olympic Park, running every 10 minutes until late.
• North Shore and Western Line trains will make an additional stop at Lidcombe between 4.30pm and 7.30pm.  
• From Blacktown: Additional services will leave Blacktown at 5.51pm, stopping all stations to Granville, Auburn, Lidcombe and Olympic Park; and Blacktown at 6.23pm, stopping Seven Hills, Westmead, Parramatta, Auburn, Lidcombe and Olympic Park.            
• From Schofields: An additional service will leave Schofields at 6.28pm, stopping all stations to Auburn, and Olympic Park.
• From Penrith: Additional services will leave Penrith at 6.09pm, stopping all stations to Seven Hills, Westmead, Parramatta, Granville, Auburn, Lidcombe and Olympic Park, and Penrith at 6.23pm, stopping all stations to Seven Hills, Westmead, Parramatta, Granville, Lidcombe and Olympic Park.
• From Campbelltown: Additional services will leave Campbelltown at 6.07pm, stopping all stations to Granville, Auburn and Olympic Park and at 6.32pm via Granville stopping all stations to Granville, Auburn, Lidcombe, then Olympic Park.
• From Leppington:  An additional service will leave Leppington at 6.55pm stopping all stations to Granville, Auburn, Lidcombe, then Olympic Park.
• Central Coast Line: An additional service will leave Wyong at 6pm stopping at Gosford, Woy Woy, Hornsby, Strathfield and Central.
• Blue Mountains Line: An additional service will leave Mt Victoria at 4.30pm and stop all stations to Penrith then Parramatta, Strathfield and Central.  

 Getting Home 

• To Central: express trains will leave Olympic Park every 5 minutes from 10pm to 12.30am, stopping at Strathfield, Redfern then Central.  
• To the west (Blacktown, Schofields and Penrith): trains will leave Olympic Park every 7 to 8 minutes from 10pm until 12.30am stopping at Lidcombe, Granville, Parramatta, Westmead and Seven Hills, then all stations to Blacktown, Schofields or Penrith. Schofields train will stop at Lidcombe, Granville, Parramatta, Westmead, Wentworthville, Pendle Hill, Toongabbie, Seven Hills, Blacktown, then all stations to Schofields.
• To Macarthur: Additional services will leave Lidcombe at 10.33pm, 11.03pm and 11.33pm stopping at Auburn, Granville then all stations to Macarthur.  
• To Central Coast: Additional services will leave Central at 10.30pm and 11.20pm stopping at Strathfield, Epping, Hornsby, Berowra then all stations to Newcastle Interchange.  
• Blue Mountains Line: An additional service will leave Central at 10.42pm and stop at Parramatta at 11.09pm, then Penrith then all stations to Mt Victoria.
• South Coast Line: An additional service will leave Central at 10.53pm stopping at Redfern, Wolli Creek, Hurstville, Sutherland, Waterfall and all stations to Wollongong.   

Trackwork

Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will run on all nine routes from the Northern Beaches, Inner West, Sutherland Shire, North Western Suburbs, Hills District and Southern Suburbs for the State of Origin Game I.   

Travel on Major Event Buses is included in your match ticket – simply show your ticket to the bus driver when boarding services. 

Service Times  

• To Olympic Park: services will run every 5 to 20 minutes between 3:42pm and 6:48pm, depending on the route. Buses will arrive at the precinct from around 5:30pm until 7:45pm.
  • Route 1A from Narrabeen Lakes: first bus departs at 3:42pm, last bus departs at 5:57pm.
  • Route 1B from Warriewood B-Line: first bus departs at 3:47pm, last bus departs at 6:02pm.
  • Route 2 from Glebe Point: first bus departs at 4:15pm, last bus departs at 6:30pm.
  • Route 4 from Maroubra Beach: first bus departs at 3:55pm, last bus departs at 6:05pm.
  • Route 5A from Hills Showground Station: first bus departs at 4:33pm, last bus departs at 6:43pm.
  • Route 5B from Tallawong Station: first bus departs at 4:18pm, last bus departs at 6:28pm.
  • Route 6 from Sutherland Station: first bus departs at 4:18pm last bus departs at 6:33pm.
  • Route 7 from Shark Park Cronulla: first bus departs at 4.00pm, last bus departs at 6:15pm.
  • Route 8 from Dural: first bus departs at 4:33pm, last bus departs at 6:48pm.
• From Olympic Park: services will leave Olympic Park approximately every 5 minutes after the match, with the last bus on each route leaving the precinct by 11.00pm.  

Routes 1A, 1B, 2 and 4 drop off and pick up from the Aquatic Terminal on Olympic Boulevarde near Herb Elliott Avenue. 

Routes 5A, 5B, 6, 7 and 8 drop off and pick up from the Plaza Terminal on Olympic Boulevarde near Kevin Coombs Avenue, opposite Qudos Bank Arena.

Major Event Bus Routes

Search your bus route number at routes and timetables for full timetable details and stop locations. Please note service times will be affected by traffic conditions on the day. For real-time bus service disruptions check travel alerts.

Note: Wheelchair accessible buses will travel on each route, you can also see accessible services in the Trip Planner identified by the wheelchair icon.

Regular Route Buses

The following Sydney bus services run to Olympic Park: 

• Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park via Newington.
• Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf. 
• Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde. 

Shuttle buses also run between car parks in Olympic Park and the stadium, visit the website for more information.

Bus Diversions

While roads are closed in the Sydney Olympic Park precinct, route 525, 526 and 533 services will be diverting.

• From 1:30am Tuesday 26 May to 3am Thursday 28 May, routes 525 and 526 services will be diverting while roads are closed in Sydney Olympic Park for State of Origin Game I. 

• From 7am to 8:30am, then from 3pm to 4:15pm, on Tuesday 26 May and Wednesday 27 May, school routes 665s, 760s and 761s services will be diverting via Edwin Flack Avenue, Sarah Durack Avenue and Australia Avenue, and will miss stops on Dawn Fraser Avenue and Park Street. Catch these services from the stop on Park Street at Olympic Park train station or other alternative stop locations on Edwin Flack Avenue. 

• From 5pm Wednesday 27 May to 1am Thursday 28 May, route 533 services will be diverting via Hill Road, Pondage Link, Edwin Flack Avenue, Sarah Durack Avenue and Australia Avenue, and will miss stops on Holker Busway. Allow extra time and check signs at stops for alternate stop locations.

The closest wharf to Accor Stadium is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.

F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

F3 Parramatta River ferries may be affected by low tide between Parramatta and Rydalmere and replaced by buses. Check for updates here.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Change at Central for express trains to Olympic Park running regularly from mid-afternoon.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily, plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Change at Central for express trains to Olympic Park running regularly from mid-afternoon.

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner. 

Alight at Parramatta Square or Westmead to connect with trains to Lidcombe, then Olympic Park.

With around 80,000 fans expected, ticketholders are urged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid getting caught in weeknight peak traffic delays. Travel on transport is included in match tickets.  

Attendees who have no other option but to drive must pre-book parking to secure a space. Alternatively, consider parking at a nearby station commuter carpark and continuing your trip by train to Olympic Park.

• If you haven't pre-booked, consider parking at a nearby station commuter carpark and continuing your trip by train or bus to Olympic Park.
• If you have pre-booked, follow directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry.
• Carpool with your group and allow plenty of extra travel time as traffic will be heavy during the busy evening peak. Expect delays on the M4 Motorway, Homebush Bay Drive, Concord Road, Silverwater Road, Ryde Road, Lane Cove Road and Epping Road. • If you're getting dropped off or catching rideshare, taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Avenue. 

Avoid the delays and arrive early to enjoy the pre-event atmosphere. Local cafes and restaurants will be open, and Fig Grove will be a hub of food-trucks and entertainment.

Keep in mind that Sydney Olympic Park Authority will close local roads in the precinct and traffic congestion is expected before and after the event. If you're getting dropped off/picked up or catching rideshare and taxis:

• Remember that roads will be closed within the precinct. Allow plenty of extra travel time due to the increased traffic expected in the area before and after the match.  
• After the match, demand for taxis and rideshare will be high and prices are likely to be surging. Avoid the traffic delays while roads are closed by considering catching a train or bus outside of the precinct to connect with your ride faster.
• Taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Ave.

An accessible pick up and drop off area will be located off at the corner of Dawn Fraser Ave and Edwin Flack Blvd.

Train Station Commuter Parking

A number of key train stations have large commuter car parks, so consider parking at a station near you then catching one of the extra trains to Olympic Park.

Stations with large car parks on the western line where you can change for a frequent direct train to Olympic Park include:

• T1 Western Line: Seven Hills, Blacktown, Emu Plains, Rooty Hill, St Marys and Penrith.

Stations with large car parks on other train lines that require one interchange by train to get to Olympic Park include:

• T1 North Shore & T9 Northern Line: Gordon, Thornleigh and Concord West.
• T2 Inner West & Leppington Line: Fairfield, Warwick Farm, Leppington and Edmonson Park.
• T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Sutherland and Kogarah.
• T8 Airport & South Line: Padstow, Revesby, Glenfield, Holsworthy, Macarthur, Campbelltown and Leumeah.
