Important Travel Advice

Footy fans are encouraged to plan their trip and consider the public transport options. 

Match tickets include travel on all modes of public transport, simply show your ticket to transport staff when boarding. 

Trains services run regularly to the City where you can connect with frequent light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park light rail stop is located a short walk across from Allianz Stadium. Plenty of regular route buses also make stops along Anzac Parade and Oxford Street nearby. 

Please note that due to planned trackwork, metro services will not run across the entire line between Tallawong and Sydenham. Replacement buses only between Tallawong and Chatswood only. Use trains for travel between Sydenham and Chatswood. Plan trip using the Trip Planner

Consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway to avoid the queues for transport services before and after the match. See the Moore Park walking route map (pdf 677KB) to find your way.

If you have to drive, allow extra travel time as traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the precinct as fans travel to the match. Carpool with your group as parking in the precinct may fill quickly. You can find real-time traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.   

Parking is available near Allianz Stadium at the Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park, EP3 grass car park on Driver Avenue, and Sydney Boys & Girls High School car park off Cleveland Street. A flat rate event parking fee will apply. 

Match ticket entitlements

Valid pre-purchased tickets to 2026 NRL Season home games at Allianz Stadium includes travel to and from Moore Park on the following transport services, just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding:

  • Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
  • Sydney Metro services
  • Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan bus services
  • Sydney Light Rail services
  • Sydney Ferries

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.

Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks 

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services. 

Tickets to the 2026 NRL Season home games at Allianz Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

Trackwork – Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 June 

  • Metro services will not run between Tallawong and Sydenham.
  • Buses replace services between Tallawong and Chatswood only.
  • For travel to and from Waterloo use local buses or trains from Redfern.
  • Use trains between Epping or Chatswood, the City and Sydenham 

Change at Central to connect with light rail services towards Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street.

The closest stations to Allianz Stadium are Central and Bondi Junction.

From Central, catch a light rail service to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street. Alternatively, consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway. See the Moore Park walking route map (pdf 677KB) to find your way.

From Bondi Junction, catch one of the many regular route buses from the Interchange to Oxford Street to get within walking distance of the stadium.

Trackwork

Planned trackwork is taking place on Sunday 21 June on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.

  • M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line: Metro services will not run between Tallawong and Sydenham. Buses replace services between Tallawong and Chatswood only. For travel to and from Waterloo use local buses or trains from Redfern. Use trains between Epping or Chatswood, the City and Sydenham   
  • City Circle: Trains do not run around the City Circle but continue to run between Central, Town Hall and Wynyard. For travel to Circular Quay, St James or Museum use light rail, local buses or walk.
  • T1 North Shore Line: Sydney Metro trackwork may affect how you travel.
  • T1 Western Line: Richmond trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Central, platforms 1-14 only. Penrith trains make an extra stop at Ashfield
  • T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: Buses replace trains between Leppington and Glenfield. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between: Macarthur and Central, platforms 1-14 via Granville, and between Homebush and North Sydney. Macarthur trains do not stop at Ashfield. You may need to change trains to continue your journey. City Circle trackwork may also affect how you travel.
  • T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Liverpool or Homebush and North Sydney. City Circle trackwork may also affect how you travel.
  • T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: All Cronulla and some Waterfall trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. Trackwork on other lines may also affect how you travel.
  • T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Leppington and Glenfield. Trains run between Glenfield and Central via Granville, and between Liverpool and Schofields or Richmond, some to a changed timetable.  You may need to change trains to continue your journey.
  • T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and reduced frequency, every 30 minutes.
  • T8 Airport & South Line: Buses replace trains between Glenfield, Sydenham and Central via the Airport. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Macarthur and Central, platforms 1-14 via Granville or Regents Park, and between Sydenham and Bondi Junction.
  • T9 Northern Line: Sydney Metro trackwork may affect how you travel.
  • Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Sydney Metro trackwork may affect how you travel.
  • South Coast Line: From 2.30am to 12pm, buses replace trains between Bomaderry, Port Kembla and Wollongong. Trains run between Wollongong and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable.
  • Southern Highlands Line: The following trains leave Central earlier than the normal timetable: The 16:06 Central to Moss Vale service leaves Central at 15:43, and the 17:55 Central to Goulburn service leaves Central at 17:28

A number of regular Sydney Buses service stops along Anzac Parade near the precinct, including routes 339, 373, 374 and 396. From Bondi Junction Interchange, catch routes 333, 352 or 440 to Oxford Street or catch route 355 buses to Lang Road to get within short walking distance of the stadium.  

Keep in mind that buses and light rail services will be busy. Consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway to minimise wait times for transport services. See the Moore Park walking route map (pdf 677KB) to find your way.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner

From Central, change for a light rail service on the L2 or L3 Line to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street.   

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner

Catch L2 or L3 light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade just south of Allianz Stadium. 

Additional light rail services will run before and after the game. Queues are expected, so be patient and allow plenty of extra time, particularly when leaving the stadium. Consider walking if able to (approximately 25-minutes) as light rail services will be busy. See the Moore Park walking route map (pdf 677KB) to find your way.

City Circle and Metro trackwork may affect how you travel. Trains do not run to Museum, St James or Circular Quay but continue to run between Central, Town Hall and Wynyard. Use light rail services to Circular Quay. Metro services do not run between Tallawong and Sydenham. Daily from 7am to 7pm, extra L2 and L3 light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick or Juniors Kingsford. 

Lift outage Moore Park Light Rail 

The lifts at the Moore Park Light Rail stop between Anzac Pde and the footbridge will be temporarily out of service from Tuesday 9 June for approximately 4 weeks while replacement works are carried out. During this period, use the accessible entry/exit pathway via the crossing at the intersection of Anzac Pde and Lang Rd, or via the Entertainment Quarter side, or use the stairs at the stop if you are able to do so safely. L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service to Central from Parramatta Station. From Central, catch a L2 or L3 Line service to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade just south of Allianz Stadium

Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

If you have to drive, carpool with your group and allow extra travel time as traffic will be heavier than usual as fans travel to the match in the busy evening peak. Fans are encouraged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid traffic delays and the high demand for parking. 

Changed traffic conditions

  • Driver Avenue will be partially closed outside the stadium from 3.15pm and will reopen once crowds have safely cleared the area.
  • No through-traffic will be available on Driver Avenue, however access to EP3 grass car park and drop-off areas maintained from Lang Road. Car park opens at 3.15pm.

The closest taxi rank is located on Errol Flynn Boulevard (near the Hordern Pavilion).  

If you’re using rideshare to get to the game, use Errol Flynn Boulevard or Driver Avenue for drop off locations. 

After the match, there may be restrictions on rideshare pick up locations due to heavy traffic in the area. Select a pick-up location away from the stadium.

Moore Park Car Parks

Parking will be in high demand and will fill quickly. Carpool with your group and aim to arrive early to secure a parking space. 

  • Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park: Open 24 hours. Flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Errol Flynn Boulevard from Lang Road.
  • Showground Field (EP3) grass car park: Open from 3.15pm. Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry on Driver Avenue via Lang Road.
  • Sydney Boys High School and Sydney Girls High School: Car Park open from around 3.15pm. Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Cleveland Street. For access between the Moore Park precinct and Sydney Boys & Girls High School car parks, walk via Driver Ave and use the signalised pedestrian crossing at Anzac Pde and Lang Rd.

Please note that EP2 grass car park will not be open for this event.

Special Event Clearways

Special event clearways will be in place on roads in Moore Park and surrounding areas from 3pm to 10pm on sections of Albion Street, Fitzroy Street and Lang Road, and from 6am to 10pm on Cleveland Street.  

From 6am to 10pm 

  • Cleveland Street between South Dowling Street and City Road (southern side)
  • Cleveland Street between Abercrombie Street and South Dowling Street (northern side) 

From 3pm to 10pm 

  • Albion Street between Bourke Street and Flinders Street (both sides)
  • Fitzroy Street between South Dowling Street and Bourke Street (northern side)
  • Lang Road between Anzac Parade and Errol Flynn Boulevard (northern side) 

Clearways are strict no-parking zones for all vehicle types and apply even to local residents and TfNSW Mobility Scheme Permit holders. Check signs carefully as vehicles left in clearways will be towed and a fee applies. If your vehicle is towed, you can search your vehicle registration at the Find My Car website to find its new location or alternatively call 132 701 to speak to an operator.
