Sydney football fans can come together at the free live site in Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour to watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup men's matches live on the big screen.
This free public event is screening all the key Socceroo matches, plus the quarter finals right through to the big final.
- Sunday 14 June: Australia vs Türkiye, kick off 2pm AEST
- Saturday 20 June: USA v Australia, kick off 5am AEST
- Friday 26 June: Paraguay v Australia, kick off 12pm AEST
- 9 – 11 July: Quarter-finals, date and time TBC
- 14 – 15 July: Semi-finals, date and time TBC
- Mon 20 July: Final, time TBC
Early morning and late night trains, metro, buses and light rail services run to Town Hall, Gadigal and Central, which are within short walking distance of Tumbalong Park at the southern end of Darling Harbour. The closest light rail stops are Paddy’s Markets and Exhibition Centre.
If you’re driving, allow extra travel time as traffic may be heavy and parking may fill quickly onsite at the ICC Sydney car park and the Harbourside Wilson car park. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
Opal
You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.
Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.

If you have a contactless-enabled American Express, Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card, or a linked device, you can use it to pay for your travel by tapping on and tapping off at Opal card readers. Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
The M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham running from early morning until late.
Alight at Gadigal, exiting via Bathurst St then continue on foot down to Darling Harbour.
Alternatively, change at Central to connect with light rail services to the Paddy's Market or Exhibition Centre stop leaving from Central Grand Concourse.

- T9 Northern Line: Trains run between Berowra or Hornsby and Central, platforms 1-14 only. If travelling to
:T1 North Shore Line stations, change at Epping or Central for metro services to Victoria Cross, Crows Nest or Chatswood, then change for a bus. - Blue Mountains Line: From 9.30am to 4.30pm, buses replace trains from Lithgow to Katoomba. From 10.30am to 5pm, buses replace trains from Katoomba to Lithgow. Trains run to a changed timetable between Katoomba and
Central. - South Coast Line: Buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Wollongong. Trains run between Port Kembla, Wollongong and Central or Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable. Buses do not run to the train timetable. If connecting with trains at Wollongong you may need to catch an earlier bus to ensure you meet your train connection. Catch a ferry to Circular Quay where you can change for light rail or trains to Town Hall or Central and continue on foot to Tumbalong Park.
Alternatively, catch a ferry to Pyrmont Bay or Barangaroo and continue on foot.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line
L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Use the Trip Planner to plan your trip.
Catch light rail services to the Exhibition Centre stop which is located across from Tumbalong Park.
L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). From Central continue on foot or change for L1 Light rail services leaving from Central Grand Concourse to Exhibition Centre which is located across from Tumbalong Park.
Alternatively, alight at Haymarket or Chinatown stops and walk to the park in Darling Harbour.
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service to Central from Parramatta Station.
From Central continue on foot or change for L1 Light rail services leaving from Central Grand Concourse to Exhibition Centre which is located across from Tumbalong Park.
Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching Darling Harbour including Harbour St, Darling Drive and Pier St. If you have to drive or are using taxis or rideshare, allow additional travel time.
Pedestrians are reminded to exercise caution around the tram tracks between the CBD and South East and cross at designated pedestrian crossings.
