Important Travel Advice
Footy fans are encouraged to plan their trip and consider the public transport options to avoid heavy traffic. The precinct will be busy with an AFL derby match also underway at nearby ENGIE Stadium with around 20,000 fans expected.
Trains run regularly to Olympic Park from Lidcombe and the venue is a short walk from the station.
Match tickets include travel on public transport, simply show your ticket to transport staff when boarding.
Please note Sydney Metro services will not run due to planned trackwork on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July. Buses replace services between Tallawong and Chatswood only. Use trains between Epping or Chatswood and Sydenham. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Match Ticket Entitlements
Valid pre-purchased tickets to 2026 NRL season home games at Accor Stadium includes travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the following transport services. Just show your event ticket to Transport staff when boarding services:
- Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
- Sydney Metro services
- Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
- Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services
- Sydney and Newcastle Ferries
Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on trains until 4am the following day.
Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.
Transport Park&Ride Car Parks
Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.
Tickets to 2026 NRL season home games at Accor Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.
If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
Planned Trackwork – Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July
- Metro services will not run between Tallawong and Sydenham.
- Buses replace services between Tallawong and Chatswood only.
- For travel to and from Waterloo use local buses or trains from Redfern.
- Use trains between Epping or Chatswood, the City and Sydenham

The closest station to Accor Stadium is Olympic Park.
Trains run regularly to Lidcombe where you can head to Platform Zero for a direct train to Olympic Park, running every 10 minutes until late.
To help you get to the match, the following additional trains will run:
- Leaving Central at 4.10pm – stopping at Redfern, Strathfield then Olympic Park.
- Leaving Leppington at 3.50pm - stopping all stations to Granville, Lidcombe then Olympic Park
Trackwork
Planned trackwork is taking place on Saturday 25 July on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line: Metro services do not run between Tallawong and Sydenham. Buses replace services between Tallawong and Chatswood only. For travel to and from Waterloo use local buses or trains from Redfern. Use trains between Epping or Chatswood, the City and Sydenham.
- City Circle: Trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Museum. Some trains may start or end at Central, run to a changed timetable or leave from different platforms. You may need to change trains to continue your journey. The light rail runs in both directions between Circular Quay and Central.
- T1 North Shore Line: Sydney Metro trackwork may affect how you travel
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: Buses replace trains between Leppington and Glenfield. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping patterns between: Macarthur and the City Circle via Granville, Campbelltown and Central, platforms 1-14 via Regents Park and Homebush and the City Circle.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: From 6.30am to 3.30pm, most trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Lidcombe only. Change trains at Lidcombe to continue your journey.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland. Trains run between Waterfall, Sutherland and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable. From 3am to 11.30am, buses replace trains between Waterfall and Sutherland. Trains run to a changed timetable between Sutherland and Bondi Junction. Trackwork on other lines may also affect how you travel.
- T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Leppington and Glenfield. Trains run between Glenfield and Central via Granville, and between Liverpool and Schofields or Richmond, to a changed timetable. You may need to change trains to continue your journey.
- T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and reduced frequency, every 30 minutes
- T8 Airport & South Line: Buses replace trains between Glenfield, Sydenham and Central via the Airport. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between: Macarthur and the City via Granville, Campbelltown and Central, platforms 1-14 via Regents Park, and Sydenham and the City. From the Airport, if travelling to T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra or South Coast Line stations change at Central, not Wolli Creek
- T9 Northern Line: Sydney Metro trackwork may affect how you travel
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Sydney Metro trackwork may affect how you travel
- South Coast Line: From 3am to 11am, buses replace trains between Dapto, Port Kembla and Sutherland. Trains run to a changed timetable between Bomaderry, Kiama and Dapto, and T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line trains run between Sutherland and Bondi Junction. The first train leaves Bondi Junction at 10:13, Wollongong at 12:08, arriving at Kiama at 12:52.
- Southern Highlands Line: The following trains leave Central earlier than the normal timetable: 16:06 Central to Moss Vale service leave Central at 15:43 and 17:54 Central to Goulburn service leave Central at 17:30.

The following route buses run towards Olympic Park:
- Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Lidcombe. Connect with trains to continue your trip to Olympic Park.
- Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.
- Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.

The closest wharf to Accor Stadium is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line

Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service to Lidcombe then Olympic Park from Parramatta Station.

Sydney Olympic Park will be busy on Saturday with an AFL game also taking place at nearby ENGIE Stadium.
Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching Sydney Olympic Park. Travel with your group and allow extra travel time on the M4, Parramatta Road, Homebush Bay Drive and Concord Road.
If you have to drive, carpool with your group pre-book your parking online ahead of time to secure a space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior.

Road Closures

Olympic Park Car Parks
The closest car park to Accor Stadium is P1 on Edwick Flack Ave.
Parking will be in high demand with an AFL match also taking place at nearby ENGIE Stadium on Saturday.
Visit Sydney Olympic Park – Parking to secure your parking space ahead of the game, available until 11.59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior. A flat rate $35 parking fee will apply.
Alternatively, consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing the trip to Olympic Park by train. Match tickets include travel on public transport.
If you have pre-booked a space, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry.
If you haven’t pre-booked, follow the variable message signs within Sydney Olympic Park to the best available casual parking.
Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time.
