Important Travel Advice

BIGBANG fans are urged to leave the car at home and use public transport to avoid traffic delays and the high demand for parking. 

Join other fans by catching public transport to the concert. 

  • Travel on all public transport modes is included in your concert ticket – simply show your ticket to transport staff when boarding services. 
  • Extra trains and route buses will run to help you get there and home again. Olympic Park Station is a short 10-minute walk away from the Stadium.
  • Trackwork is taking place across the train network that may affect the way you travel to and from Olympic Park. It is essential that you plan ahead and allow plenty of extra travel time if your line is affected. 
  • Additional route buses will run to and from Olympic Park to help you get to the concert and home again.
  • Plan your trip with the Trip Planner or the free Opal Travel app and see the Olympic Park Transport Map to find your way.

If you have to drive, you must pre-booked parking:

  • Do not drive unless you have pre-booked parking. Spots are expected to sell out in advance so it is essential that you pre-book parking online to guarantee a car space. A flat rate $40 parking fee applies.
  • Carpool with your group and allow plenty of extra travel time. Traffic will be heavy approaching the precinct and entering car parks. Plan your trip before leaving home – you can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
  • If you have pre-booked parking, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. After the concert, traffic will be very heavy as everyone leaves at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour of additional travel time exiting car parks.
  • You can also consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing your trip by train to Olympic Park, at no extra cost.
  • If you're using Taxis or rideshare: Taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Avenue near Showground Road at the Pullman Hotel.  Demand for Taxis and rideshare will be high when you’re leaving and prices will likely be surging. If you’re using rideshare, follow directions to suitable pick-up/drop-off meeting points in the app.

Arrive early to enjoy the pre-event atmosphere in the precinct. Local cafes and restaurants will be open, and Fig Grove opposite the stadium will be a hub of food-trucks and entertainment. Some venues will operate extended trading hours if you want to avoid queues of crowds leaving the precinct after the show.

Ticket entitlements

Valid pre-purchased tickets to BIGBANG 2026–2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS > at Accor Stadium on Saturday 31 October includes travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the following transport services, just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding:

  • Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
  • Sydney Metro services
  • Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
  • Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services 
  • Sydney and Newcastle Ferries

Please note that Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will not run for this event.

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day. 

Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements. 

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.

Tickets to BIGBANG 2026–2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS > at Accor Stadium on Saturday 31 October includes travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late. 

Please note that trackwork is taking place across the train network that may affect the way you travel to and from Olympic Park. It is essential that you plan ahead and allow plenty of extra travel. 

Change at:

  • Epping for a replacement bus to Strathfield where you can connect with trains to Olympic Park. 
  • Central for trains to Lidcombe then Olympic Park.

The closest station to Accor Stadium is Olympic Park. It is a short 10-minute walk via Olympic Boulevard to the Stadium. Travel on trains is included in your concert ticket, simply show your ticket to staff when boarding services.

You may need to catch a replacement bus or change trains to complete your journey depending on where you are travelling from. It is essential that you plan ahead and allow plenty of extra travel.

Trackwork

Regular Route Buses

The following route buses run towards Olympic Park: 

  • Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Lidcombe via Newington. Catch a train from Lidcombe to continue your trip to Olympic Park. 
  • Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.  
  • Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde. 

Shuttle buses also run between car parks in Olympic Park and the stadium, visit the website for more information.

Please note that Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will not run for this event.

Additional route services

Additions route 526 and 533 buses will run to help you get to and from Olympic Park.

Getting there:

  • Route 526 from Strathfield: buses will leave Strathfield every 5-10 minutes (approximately) from 4.30pm until 8.20pm.
  • Route 526 from Rhodes: buses will leave Rhodes every 5-15 minutes (approximately) from 4.30pm until 8.13pm.
  • Route 533 from Chatswood: buses will leave Chatswood every 10-minutes (approximately) from 4.08pm until 7.12pm.

Getting home:

  • Route 526 to Strathfield: buses will leave Olympic Park every 6-10 minutes (approximately) from 10.35pm until 12.21am.
  • Route 526 to Rhodes: buses will leave Olympic Park every 6-10 minutes (approximately) from 10.40pm to 12.40am.
  • Route 533 to Top Ryde/Chatswood: buses will leave Olympic Park every 6-10 minutes (approximately) from 10.32pm until 12.12am. Please note that some services will terminate at Top Ryde.

Bus Diversions

Roads will close in the Sydney Olympic Park precinct for this event. Route 526 and 533 services will be diverting while closures are in place.

The closest wharf to Accor Stadium is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.

F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

F3 Parramatta River ferries may be affected by low tide between Parramatta and Rydalmere and replaced by buses. Check for updates here.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Change at Central for a train to Lidcombe where you can connect with Sprint services to Olympic Park. 

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily, plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Change at Central for a train to Lidcombe where you can connect with Sprint services to Olympic Park. 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Alight at Parramatta Square or Westmead to connect with trains to Olympic Park.

With up to 70,000 fans expected to attend the concert, significant traffic delays are expected on roads approaching the precinct and entering car parks.

  • If you have pre-booked, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry.
  • Traffic will be very heavy after the concert as everyone leaves at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour of additional travel time exiting car parks.
  • If you haven't pre-booked parking, do not drive to Olympic Park. You will need to catch public transport as there will be no parking available on-site. You can also consider parking at a nearby commuter car park and continuing your trip by train or bus to Olympic Park, at no extra cost.

If you're using Taxis or rideshare:

  • Remember that roads will be closed in the precinct. Allow plenty of extra travel time when travelling to and from the concert. For changed traffic conditions and real-time traffic updates, visit livetraffic.com.
  • Taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Avenue near Showground Road at the Pullman Hotel. 
  • Geo-fenced rideshare restrictions will be enforced across the precinct before and after the concert. Follow directions in the app to suitable pick-up/drop-off points when arriving and leaving. 
  • Demand will be high after the concert and prices are likely to be surging. Traffic delays are also expected. Book your ride home as you are leaving the Stadium or consider catching a train or bus outside of the precinct to connect with your ride faster. 

Avoid the delays and arrive early to enjoy the pre-event atmosphere. Local cafes and restaurants will be open, and Fig Grove will be a hub of food-trucks and entertainment. 

Road Closures

Sydney Olympic Park Authority will close local roads to accommodate increased public transport services and ensure pedestrian safety during events. For road closure details, visit the Sydney Olympic Park interactive map for more details.

Taxis and rideshare are expected to experience traffic delays while roads are closed in the precinct. Keep this in mind when planning your trip to or from Olympic Park and allow plenty of extra travel time. Taxis

  • Taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Avenue near Showground Road at the Pullman Hotel.
  • Demand will be high when you’re leaving. Be patient and follow the directions of staff managing Taxis ranks.

Rideshare

  • Geo-fenced rideshare restrictions will be enforced across the precinct before and after the concert.
  • Follow directions in the app to suitable pick-up/drop-off points when arriving and leaving. 
  • Demand will be high and rideshare prices are likely to be surging, and traffic delays are also expected. Book your ride home as you are leaving the Stadium.
  • Consider catching a train or bus outside of the precinct to connect with your ride faster.

Sydney Olympic Park Car Parks

  • Ticketholders must pre-book parking online to secure a space. Parking in the precinct is limited and is expected to sell out before the event. 
  • Visit Sydney Olympic Park – Parking to secure your parking space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior. A flat rate $40 parking fee will apply. 
  • If you have pre-booked, follow directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry.
  • Use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road to get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout.
  • Alternatively, consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing your trip to Olympic Park by train – additional services will run and concert tickets include travel on public transport. 
  • Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time on the M4 Motorway, Homebush Bay Drive, Concord Road, Silverwater Road, Ryde Road, Lane Cove Road and Epping Road. Plan your trip before leaving home – you can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
  • Traffic will be very heavy after the concert as everyone leaves at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour of additional travel time exiting car parks or avoid the delays by staying in the precinct and enjoying many of the venues that will stay open after the show. 

Train Station Commuter Parking

A number of key train stations have large commuter car parks. Consider parking at a station near you then continuing your trip to Olympic Park by train at no extra cost. 

  • T1 Western Line: Seven Hills, Blacktown, Emu Plains, Rooty Hill, St Marys and Penrith.
  • T1 North Shore & T9 Northern Line: Gordon, Thornleigh and Concord West.
  • T2 Inner West & Leppington Line: Fairfield, Warwick Farm, Leppington and Edmonson Park. 
  • T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Sutherland and Kogarah.
  • T8 Airport & South Line: Padstow, Revesby, Glenfield, Holsworthy, Macarthur, Campbelltown and Leumeah.
