Ticket entitlements

Valid pre-purchased tickets to the Bledisloe Cup Test: Wallabies v All Blacks at Accor Stadium on Saturday 17 October includes travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the following transport services, just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding:

• Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
• Sydney Metro services
• Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
• Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses
• Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services 
• Sydney and Newcastle Ferries

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day. 

Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements. 

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.

Tickets to the Bledisloe Cup Test: Wallabies v All Blacks at Accor Stadium on Saturday 17 October includes travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late. 

Change at Central for express trains to Olympic Park, or change at Epping for trains towards Strathfield to connect with services to Olympic Park.

Travel on metro and Major Event Buses is included in your match ticket – simply show your ticket to staff when boarding services. At Metro stations, a dedicated Opal gate will remain open for match ticketholders to access the station.

Connect with Major Event Buses

Connect with a Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Bus at the following Metro stations to get to the match:

• Route 1A: Chatswood and North Ryde stations
• Route 1B: Macquarie Park Station
• Route 5A: Hills Showground and Castle Hill stations
• Route 5B: Tallawong, Rouse Hill, Kellyville, Bella Vista and Norwest stations

Commuter Car Parks

Consider utilising existing commuter carparks at Metro North West stations and connecting with Major Event Bus Routes 5A or 5B to Olympic Park.

Large commuter car parks are located at the following stations:

• Tallawong – 1,000 spaces
• Kellyville – 1,389 parking spaces, including 97 accessible car spaces. A temporary overflow car park has opened at the corner of Decora Drive and Darani Avenue, offering 150 extra spaces until Dec 2026.
• Bella Vista – 800 spaces
• Hills Showground – 600 spaces

The closest station to Accor Stadium is Olympic Park. It is a short 10-minute walk via Olympic Boulevarde to the Stadium.

Travel on trains is included in your match ticket, simply show your ticket to staff when boarding services. Express trains to Olympic Park and regular services to Lidcombe will run frequently before and after the match to get you there and home again.

Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will run on all nine routes from the Northern Beaches, Inner West, Sutherland Shire, North Western Suburbs, Hills District and Southern Suburbs for the Bledisloe Cup on Saturday 17 October. 

Travel on Major Event Buses is included in your match ticket – simply show your ticket to the bus driver when boarding services. 

Service Times – Saturday 17 October

• To Olympic Park: services will run every 5 to 20 minutes between 10.05am and 2.44pm, depending on the route. Buses will arrive at the precinct from around 11.30am until 3.30pm.
  • Route 1A from Narrabeen Lakes: first bus departs at 10.05am, last bus departs at 2.05pm.
  • Route 1B from Warriewood B-Line: first bus departs at 10.12am, last bus departs at 2.12pm.
  • Route 2 from Glebe Point: first bus departs at 10.33am, last bus departs at 2.33pm.
  • Route 4 from Maroubra Beach: first bus departs at 10.10pm, last bus departs at 2.10pm.
  • Route 5A from Hills Showground Station: first bus departs at 10.44pm, last bus departs at 2.44pm.
  • Route 5B from Tallawong Station: first bus departs at 10.32am, last bus departs at 2.30pm.
  • Route 6 from Sutherland Station: first bus departs at 10.24am, last bus departs at 2.24pm.
  • Route 7 from Shark Park Cronulla: first bus departs at 10.05pm, last bus departs at 2.05pm.
  • Route 8 from Dural: first bus departs at 10.35am, last bus departs at 2.35pm.
• From Olympic Park: services will leave Olympic Park approximately every 5 minutes after the match with the last bus on each route leaving the precinct by 6.30pm. 

Routes 1A, 1B, 2 and 4 drop-off and pick-up from the Aquatic Terminal on Olympic Boulevarde near Herb Elliott Avenue.

Routes 5A, 5B, 6, 7 and 8 drop-off and pick-up from the Plaza Terminal on Olympic Boulevarde near Kevin Coombs Avenue, opposite Afterpay Arena.

Major Event Bus Routes

Regular Route Buses

The following route buses run towards Olympic Park: 

• Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Lidcombe via Newington. Catch a train from Lidcombe to continue your trip to Olympic Park. 
• Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.  
• Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.

Bus Diversions

Roads will close in the Sydney Olympic Park precinct for this event. Route 526 and 533 services will be diverting while closures are in place.

The closest wharf to Accor Stadium is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.

F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

F3 Parramatta River ferries may be affected by low tide between Parramatta and Rydalmere and replaced by buses. Check for updates here.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily, plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Change at Central for express trains to Olympic Park, running regularly on match day.

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Alight at Parramatta Square or Westmead to connect with trains to Olympic Park.

With up to 70,000 rugby fans expected to attend the match, significant traffic delays are expected on roads approaching the precinct and entering car parks. Delays are also expected after the match as attendees exit car parks and the precinct, and while NBL fans make their way into the precinct. 

Rugby fans should leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid the traffic delays. Match tickets include travel on public transport. Plan your trip with the Trip Planner or the FREE Opal Travel app and see the Olympic Park Transport Map to find your way.

• Do not drive unless you have pre-booked parking. Spots are expected to sell out in advance so it is essential that you pre-book parking online to guarantee a car space. A flat rate $40 parking fee applies.
• Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time on the M4 Motorway, Homebush Bay Drive, Concord Road, Silverwater Road, Ryde Road, Lane Cove Road and Epping Road. Plan your trip before leaving home – you can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
• To get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout, use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road. Follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry.
• Traffic will be very heavy after the match as everyone leaves at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour of additional travel time exiting car parks.
• If you haven't pre-booked parking, do not drive to Olympic Park. You will need to catch public transport as there will be no parking available on-site. You can also consider parking at a nearby commuter car park and continuing your trip by train or bus to Olympic Park, at no extra cost.

If you're using Taxis or rideshare:

• Remember that roads will be closed in the precinct. Allow plenty of extra travel time when travelling to and from the match. For changed traffic conditions and real-time traffic updates, visit livetraffic.com.
• Taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Avenue near Showground Road at the Pullman Hotel. After the match, an additional Taxi rank will be located on Edwin Flack Avenue in Coach Pod B opposite the Stadium. 
• Geo-fenced rideshare restrictions will be enforced across the precinct before and after the match. Follow directions in the app to suitable pick-up/drop-off points when arriving and leaving. 
• Demand will be high after the match and prices are likely to be surging. Traffic delays are also expected. Book your ride home as you are leaving the Stadium or consider catching a train or bus outside of the precinct to connect with your ride faster. 

Avoid the delays and arrive early to enjoy the pre-event atmosphere. Local cafes and restaurants will be open, and Fig Grove will be a hub of food-trucks and entertainment. 

Road Closures

Taxis and rideshare are expected to experience traffic delays while roads are closed in the precinct. Keep this in mind when planning your trip to or from Olympic Park and allow plenty of extra travel time. After the match, consider catching a train or bus outside of the precinct to connect with your ride faster. 

Taxis

• Taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Avenue near Showground Road at the Pullman Hotel.
• After the match, an additional Taxi rank will be located on Edwin Flack Avenue in Coach Pod B opposite the Stadium. It will be operational 30-minutes before the scheduled finish time.
• Demand will be high when you’re leaving. Be patient and follow the directions of staff managing Taxis ranks.

Rideshare

• Geo-fenced rideshare restrictions will be enforced across the precinct before and after the match.
• Follow directions in the app to suitable pick-up/drop-off points when arriving and leaving. 
• Demand will be high and prices are likely to be surging, and traffic delays are also expected. Book your ride home as you are leaving the Stadium.
• Consider catching a train or bus outside of the precinct to connect with your ride faster.

Accessible 

• An accessible pick-up and drop-off area will be located on Dawn Fraser Avenue just off Edwin Flack Avenue, on the same side of the road as the Stadium.

Sydney Olympic Park Car Parks

• Ticketholders must pre-book parking online to secure a space. Parking in the precinct is limited and is expected to sell out before the event. 
• Visit Sydney Olympic Park – Parking to secure your parking space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior. A flat rate $40 parking fee will apply. 
• If you have pre-booked, follow directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry.
• Use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road to get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout.
• Alternatively, consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing your trip to Olympic Park by train  – frequent additional services will run and match tickets include travel on public transport. 
• Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time on the M4 Motorway, Homebush Bay Drive, Concord Road, Silverwater Road, Ryde Road, Lane Cove Road and Epping Road. Plan your trip before leaving home – you can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
• Traffic will be very heavy after the match as everyone leaves at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour of additional travel time exiting car parks or avoid the delays by staying in the precinct and enjoying many of the venues that will stay open after the match. Note that NBL fans will start arriving into the precinct from 6pm for the match at Afterpay Arena.

Train Station Commuter Parking

A number of key train stations have large commuter car parks, so consider parking at a station near you then catching one of the extra trains to Olympic Park.

Stations with large car parks that require one interchange by train to get to Olympic Park include:

• T1 Western Line: Seven Hills, Blacktown, Emu Plains, Rooty Hill, St Marys and Penrith.
• T1 North Shore & T9 Northern Line: Gordon, Thornleigh and Concord West.
• T2 Inner West & Leppington Line: Fairfield, Warwick Farm, Leppington and Edmonson Park. 
• T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Sutherland and Kogarah.
• T8 Airport & South Line: Padstow, Revesby, Glenfield, Holsworthy, Macarthur, Campbelltown and Leumeah.
