Important Travel Advice

Ticketholders are urged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.  

Match tickets include travel on all modes of public transport, simply show your ticket to transport staff when boarding.   

Trains and Metro services run regularly to the City where you can connect with frequent light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park light rail stop is located a short walk across from Allianz Stadium. Plenty of regular route buses also make stops along Anzac Parade and Oxford Street nearby. 

Be aware that trackwork may affect how you travel to the event: 

  • Trains will not run on the City Circle, or between Central and Wynyard. Use metro, light rail or local buses to continue your trip. From Wynyard connect with Light rail services from George St to Moore Park.
  • Buses replace Inner West trains between Strathfield and Central. Express trains continue to run. 

Consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway to avoid the queues for transport services before and after the match. See the Moore Park walking route map (pdf 677KB) to find your way. 

If you have to drive, allow extra travel time as traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the precinct as fans travel to and from the match. Carpool with your group as parking in the precinct may fill quickly. You can find real-time traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.  

Parking is available near Allianz Stadium at the Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park, EP3 grass car park on Driver Avenue, and Sydney Boys & Girls High School car park off Cleveland Street. A flat rate event parking fee will apply. 

Match ticket entitlements

Valid pre-purchased tickets to 2026/7 A-League Season home games at Allianz Stadium include travel to and from Moore Park on the following transport services, just show your event ticket or members card to transport staff when boarding:

  • Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
  • Sydney Metro services
  • Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan bus services
  • Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services
  • Sydney and Newcastle Ferries

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.

Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks 

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services. 

Tickets to 2026/7 A-League Season home games at Allianz Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket. 

If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late.

Change at Central to connect with light rail services towards Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street.

The closest stations to Allianz Stadium are Central and Bondi Junction.

From Central, catch a light rail service to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street. Alternatively, consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire St/Foveaux St and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway. See the Moore Park transport and walking route map (pdf 677KB) to find your way.

An additional train running express to Central will leave Parramatta at 6.38pm. 

From Bondi Junction, catch one of the many regular route buses from the Interchange to Oxford Street to get within walking distance of the stadium.

  • Trains will not run on the City Circle, or between Central and Wynyard. Use metro, light rail or local buses to continue your trip. From Wynyard connect with Light rail services from George St to Moore Park.
  • Buses replace Inner West trains between Strathfield and Central. Express trains continue to run. 

Trackwork 

Planned trackwork is taking place on Sunday 25 October on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.  

  • City Circle: Trains do not run on the City Circle, or between Central and Wynyard. For travel in the City use T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line trains, metro, light rail, local buses or walk. Trackwork also affects trains on other lines
  • T1 North Shore Line: Trains run to a changed timetable between Hornsby and Wynyard only, due to City Circle trackwork. Use metro services between Chatswood and the City or change at Wynyard for light rail or local bus services. Trains do not run between Wynyard and Central, or on the City Circle. From 7.30am to 8pm, buses replace trains between Hornsby and Gordon. Trains run to a changed timetable between Gordon and Wynyard only.
  • T1 Western Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between: Richmond and Liverpool. You may need to change trains at Parramatta to continue your journey; and Penrith and Central, platforms 1-14 only, making extra stops at Homebush, Flemington and Burwood. City Circle trackwork may also affect how you travel.
  • T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: Buses replace Inner West trains between Strathfield and Central. Express trains continue to run. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Olympic Park via Granville. City Circle trackwork may also affect how you travel.
  • T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: Buses replace Inner West trains between Strathfield and Central. Express trains continue to run. Trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Bankstown. Buses replace T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line trains between Bankstown and Lidcombe. City Circle trackwork may also affect how you travel.
  • T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: All Cronulla and some Waterfall trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. Extra trains run between Hurstville and Bondi Junction. City Circle trackwork may also affect how you travel.
  • T5 Cumberland Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Richmond and Liverpool, and between Schofields and Leppington.
  • T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: Buses replace trains between Bankstown and Lidcombe. Trains run between Liverpool and Bankstown, and between Lidcombe and the City.  
  • T7 Olympic Park Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Olympic Park and Lidcombe, with some trains continuing to Leppington.  
  • T8 Airport & South Line: Most trains run to a changed timetable between Macarthur and Sydenham, or between Revesby and Central via the Airport, due to City Circle trackwork. Change at Revesby for trains to Central via the Airport, or at Sydenham for metro services to the City and T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line trains towards Bondi Junction. Early morning and late-night trains run between Macarthur and Central via the Airport. T8 trains do not run between Sydenham and the City. T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line trains run between Sydenham and Bondi Junction, making extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. City Circle trackwork may also affect how you travel.
  • T9 Northern Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Berowra and Central, platforms 1-14, and between Hornsby and Epping. Use metro services between Epping and the City. City Circle trackwork may also affect how you travel.
  • Blue Mountains Line: Trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Strathfield and Central. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel. From 12.40am to 6am, most trains run between Blue Mountain Line stations and Blacktown only due to trackwork between Olympic Park and Central. Change at Blacktown to continue your journey.  
  • Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Strathfield and Central. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel. From 12.40am to 5am, buses replace all trains between Strathfield and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Strathfield only. Use metro services between Epping and the City.
  • South Coast Line: Trains run to a changed timetable between South Coast Line stations and Sydenham only. Change at Sydenham for T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line trains or metro services to continue your journey. City Circle trackwork may also affect how you travel.

A number of regular route bus services stops along Anzac Parade near the precinct, including routes 339, 373, 374 and 396. From Bondi Junction Interchange, catch routes 333, 352 or 440 to Oxford Street or catch route 355 buses to Lang Road to get within short walking distance of the stadium.   

Keep in mind that buses and light rail services will be busy. Consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway to minimise wait times for transport services. See the Moore Park walking route map (pdf 677KB) to find your way.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner. 

From Central, change for a light rail service on the L2 or L3 Line to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street.   

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner. 

Catch L2 or L3 light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade just south of Allianz Stadium. 

Additional light rail services will run before and after the game. Queues are expected, so be patient and allow plenty of extra time, particularly when leaving the stadium. L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service to Central from Parramatta Station. From Central, catch a L2 or L3 Line service to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade just south of Allianz Stadium

Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

If you have to drive, carpool with your group and allow extra travel time as traffic will be heavy as fans travel to the match. Fans are encouraged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid traffic delays. 

Changed traffic conditions   

  • Driver Avenue will be partially closed outside the stadium from 12pm and will reopen once crowds have safely cleared the area.  
  • No through-traffic will be available on Driver Avenue, however access to EP3 grass car park and drop-off areas maintained from Lang Road.

The closest taxi rank is located on Errol Flynn Boulevard (near the Hordern Pavilion).  

If you’re using rideshare to get to the game, use Errol Flynn Boulevard or Driver Avenue for drop off locations.  

After the game, there may be restrictions on rideshare pick up locations due to heavy traffic in the area. Select a pick-up location away from the stadium.

Moore Park Car Parks

Parking will be in high demand and will fill quickly. Carpool with your group and aim to arrive early to secure a parking space. 

  • Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park: Open 24 hours. Flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Errol Flynn Boulevard from Lang Road.
  • Showground Field (EP3) grass car park: Open from 5pm. Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry on Driver Avenue via Lang Road.
  • Sydney Boys High School and Sydney Girls High School: Car Park open from around 5pm. Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Cleveland Street. Use the Anzac Parade pedestrian bridge to get to and from the stadium.

Please note, EP2 grass car park will not open for this match

Special Event Clearways

Special event clearways will be in place on roads in Moore Park and surrounding areas from 1pm to 7pm on sections of Albion Street, Fitzroy Street and Lang Road, and from 6am to 7pm on Cleveland Street

From 6am to 7pm

  • Cleveland Street between South Dowling Street and City Road (southern side)
  • Cleveland Street between Abercrombie Street and South Dowling Street (northern side) 

From 1pm to 7pm

  • Albion Street between Bourke Street and Flinders Street (both sides)
  • Fitzroy Street between South Dowling Street and Bourke Street (northern side)
  • Lang Road between Anzac Parade and Errol Flynn Boulevard (northern side)

Clearways are strict no-parking zones for all vehicle types and apply even to local residents and Mobility Scheme Permit holders. Check signs carefully as vehicles left in clearways will be towed and a fee applies. If your vehicle is towed, you can search your vehicle registration at the Find My Car website to find its new location, or alternatively call 132 701 to speak to an operator.
