Ticket entitlements

Valid pre-purchased tickets to Monster Jam at Accor Stadium on Saturday 10 October include travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the following transport services, just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding: 

• Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations) 
• Sydney Metro services 
• Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses 
• Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services 
• Sydney and Newcastle Ferries 

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.  

Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services. 

Tickets to Monster Jam at Accor Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket. 

If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.

The M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late.

Change at Central for direct trains to Olympic Park. Alternatively, change at Epping to connect with a train to Strathfield then Olympic Park

The closest station to Accor Stadium is Olympic Park.

Be aware of trackwork that may affect your trip if you’re travelling from the west, buses replace trains between Parramatta and Olympic Park. You will need to catch a replacement bus from Parramatta to complete your trip to Olympic Park.  

If you’re travelling from the city, trains continue to run to Olympic Park. Catch a T1 or T2 line service directly to Olympic Park.  

Additional trains will also run to and from Olympic Park:

• From the City: Trains will run every 15 minutes from the City direct to Olympic Park
• From Penrith: Trains will run every 15 minutes - stopping all stations to Leppington. Change at Parramatta for a replacement bus to complete your trip to Olympic Park

Trackwork 

Planned trackwork is taking place on Saturday 10 October on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner. 

• T1 Western Line: Buses replace trains between Parramatta and Olympic Park. Trains run to a changed timetable between Penrith and Leppington, Richmond and Liverpool and Olympic Park and the City. Change at Parramatta for buses towards Olympic Park, then trains from Olympic Park to the City, or change at Glenfield for trains to the City via the Airport.
• T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: Buses replace trains between Parramatta and Olympic Park. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Penrith, Liverpool and Richmond and Olympic Park and the City. Change at Glenfield for trains to the City via the Airport, or change at Parramatta for buses towards Olympic Park, then trains from Olympic Park to the City.  
• T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Liverpool and Lidcombe, and between Olympic Park and the City. Buses replace all trains between Parramatta, Lidcombe and Olympic Park
• T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Buses replace trains between Cronulla, Waterfall and Central, and between Central and Bondi Junction, but do not stop at Martin Place. Trains run between Sydenham and the City Circle. Use metro services between Sydenham and Martin Place. If travelling to the Airport change at Central for a T8 Airport train.
• T5 Cumberland Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Richmond and Liverpool, and between Penrith and Leppington.
• T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and reduced frequency, every 30 minutes.
• T7 Olympic Park: Buses replace trains between Parramatta, Lidcombe and Olympic Park. Trains run between Olympic Park and the City.
• T8 Airport & South Line: Trackwork on the T4 Illawarra and South Coast Lines may affect how you travel. Change at Central for buses towards Bondi Junction, T4 Illawarra and South Coast Line stations, or if you have luggage or accessibility needs.
• Blue Mountains Line: Trains run between Blue Mountains Line stations and Blacktown only. T1 Western Line trains run between Penrith, Blacktown and Leppington. Buses replace trains between Parramatta and Olympic Park. Change at: Parramatta for buses towards Olympic Park, then trains from Olympic Park to the City, or at Glenfield for trains to the City via the Airport. Trains from Blacktown to Blue Mountains Line stations run 30 minutes later than the normal timetable. Bathurst trains run between Bathurst and Lithgow, some to a changed timetable.
• Hunter Line: From 9pm to 2.20am, buses replace trains from Newcastle Interchange to Telarah. From 10pm to 3.30am, buses replace trains from Telarah to Newcastle Interchange.
• South Coast Line: Buses replace trains between Dapto, Port Kembla and Central. You may need to change buses to continue your journey. Trains run between Bomaderry, Kiama and Dapto, some to a changed timetable. For travel to the Airport, change at Central for a T8 Airport & South Line train.
• Southern Highlands Line: Buses replace the following trains: 10:09 Campbelltown to Moss Vale and 10:35 Moss Vale to Campbelltown

The following buses run towards Olympic Park:

• Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Lidcombe. Connect with a replacement bus to continue your trip to Olympic Park. 
• Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.  
• Route 533 runs from Sydney Olympic Park to Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.

The closest wharf to Accor Stadium is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf. 

F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

F3 Parramatta River ferries may be affected by low tide between Parramatta and Rydalmere and replaced by buses. Check for updates here.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Change at Central for a direct train to Olympic Park. 

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Change at Central for a direct train to Olympic Park. 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a replacement bus to Olympic Park from Parramatta Station.  

Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

• If you need to drive, pre-book parking to guarantee a car space. Carpool with your group and allow extra travel time. A flat rate $40 parking fee will apply. 
• If you have pre-booked parking, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. 
• If you haven't pre-booked consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing your trip by train to Olympic Park.
• If you're getting dropped off or using taxis/rideshare, taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliot Avenue.
• Traffic will be heavy after the show as attendees leave at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour of additional travel time exiting car parks. 
• Allow plenty of extra travel time on roads and plan your trip before leaving home. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
• Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching Sydney Olympic Park as Monster Jam fans travel to Olympic Park, and while concertgoers also make their way to neighbouring Afterpay Arena.  

Road Closures

Sydney Olympic Park Authority may close local roads in the precinct and traffic congestion is expected before and after the show. For road closure details, visit the Sydney Olympic Park Authority interactive map

The nearest Taxi Rank is on Herb Elliott Avenue near the Pullman Hotel.

If you’re using taxis or rideshare, remember that roads will be closed within the precinct. Allow plenty of extra travel time due to the increased traffic expected in the precinct before and after the event.

When leaving, choose a pick-up location away from the immediate area around the stadium to avoid delays.

Olympic Park car parks

Visit Sydney Olympic Park – Parking to secure your parking space ahead of the show, available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior. A flat rate $40 parking fee will apply.  

Alternatively, consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing the trip to Olympic Park by train. Event tickets include travel on public transport.  

If you have pre-booked a space, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time.

Train Station Commuter Parking

A number of key train stations have large commuter car parks, so consider parking at a station near you then catching one of the extra trains to Olympic Park.

Stations with large car parks on the western line where you can change for a frequent direct train to Olympic Park include:

• T1 Western Line: Seven Hills, Blacktown, Emu Plains, Rooty Hill, St Marys and Penrith.
• T1 North Shore & T9 Northern Line: Gordon, Thornleigh and Concord West.
• T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Sutherland and Kogarah.
• T8 Airport & South Line: Padstow, Revesby, Glenfield, Holsworthy, Macarthur, Campbelltown and Leumeah.
